There are people who believe that raspberries are best eaten fresh. Others are sure that it is suitable only for making jam or decorating various desserts. Both those and others are right in their own way. But only someone who has never tried to make raspberry liquor at home can say so.
Only five hundred
In the old days, all alcoholic beverages were prepared at home. It was considered in the order of things. After all, then there were no large industrial enterprises that could supply the population with their products. Many recipes have reached us, and now every housewife can easily prepare, for example, raspberry liquor at home. There is a method that can be called "All five hundred." For work, you only need three components: fresh raspberries, sugar and vodka in a ratio of 1: 1: 1.
The method is simple, like all ingenious:
- Put fresh berries in a two-liter jar. If the products are taken from your own garden, then, of course, you can not wash them.
- Pour a bottle of vodka there.
- Close the jar with a plastic lid and leave for a week and a half.
- Then strain the infusion. Drain the liquid fraction into a separate bowl.
- Cover the remaining berries with sugar and grind with a blender.
- Rub the mass through a fine sieve so that the bones cannot pass through the cells.
- Combine both fluids and let them brew for a week.
It will turn out a wonderful raspberry liquor. At home, making such a drink is not difficult.
It can't be easier
If there is no desire to burden yourself with labor-intensive operations, then you can use a simpler method. With it, you can also make a wonderful raspberry liquor at home. True, a slightly different amount of products will be required: sugar, raspberries, vodka and water in a ratio of 1: 1: 2: 0.5.
To prepare such a drink will also be different:
- Place all the ingredients in a glass bottle and leave it for a month in a warm place. Once a week, the contents must be gently shaken.
- After time, the sugar should completely dissolve. After that, the contents of the bottle should be filtered through gauze.
- Pour the resulting liquid into bottles and let them stand a little longer. 6-7 days will be enough.
After this, the product can be considered ready to eat. Everything is very simple. Even those who have never been involved in winemaking will cope with such work. On the palate, such a liquor is no different from what is sold in stores.
Waiting time
It is clear that the options described above are not instant recipes. Each of them requires a lot of time. In an ordinary home kitchen, even cognac can be prepared by insisting and filtering. Only this is also unrealistic to do in a matter of minutes. On top of that, you need at least seven different components. But in life, nothing is impossible, and recipes for instant liquors also exist. If you do not bother with the complexities of technology and close your eyes to quality, then you can try one of them. Only ordinary vodka and raspberry syrup will be required.
Two liquid fractions simply need to be combined in glasses. The amount of each of them will depend on what kind of strength of the drink in the end I would like to get. Such a product can be called momentary. If you want a bottle of such alcohol to stand in your home bar, then it will still take time. At least a month is necessary for both components to stand together and soak with each other.
Alternative way
There is a similar recipe for raspberry liquor, where the original main component (raspberries) is also not present in the recipe. First, fresh fruits must be thoroughly ground, and then squeezed, using, for example, ordinary gauze. Do not rush here. It is necessary to let the juice drain completely so that the precious liquid does not go in vain. After that, you can safely proceed to the main actions, taking as a basis the following set of ingredients: for 600 grams of juice, a kilogram of sugar and a liter of alcohol.
The work is carried out in three stages:
- Juice with sugar in a saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Repeat the action three times, constantly removing the foam that forms completely.
- After cooling, add alcohol to the resulting syrup, and then strain the mixture.
- Pour the finished drink into the packaging container.
In a day, such a liquor can be used for its intended purpose. Everyone who happens to try such a miracle will be delighted. And no one will guess that they made it with their own hands.
Double aroma
Raspberry liquor can be prepared using not only berries, but also leaves. This will slightly change its taste and give the color of the finished product additional saturation. The composition of the main ingredients in this case will be as follows: for a bottle of vodka, 100 pieces of berries and raspberries, a liter of water and a pound of sugar.
The cooking technology is relatively simple:
- Put the berries together with leaves in a saucepan, add water and boil for a third of an hour over low heat. After this, the contents should stand for another day.
- The next day, the mixture must be filtered, add sugar to it and slowly heat until it is completely dissolved.
- After cooling, pour vodka.
- Distribute the finished composition in bottles and put in a bar.
Now for any holiday or meeting guests, you can put on the table a decanter of your own liquor, and be sure that absolutely everyone will like it. Such autumn harvesting, among other things, can also serve as a good remedy for colds.
"The master is the master"
There are many different ways and each for himself chooses how to make raspberry liquor. After all, you always want to somehow stand out and cook something that others do not even suspect. In such a case, there is a not quite standard recipe: a glass of vodka has the same boiling water, 300 grams of berries and a half can of condensed milk.
The cooking method is also very interesting:
- Put raspberries in a saucepan, add water, heat and boil for 8-10 minutes.
- Cool the mixture, and then strain it thoroughly so that no bones or pieces of pulp accidentally fall into the finished product.
- Add the condensed milk and beat the mass using a mixer with a special nozzle or a blender.
- Without stopping, pour vodka slowly.
Such a berry-cream drink no longer needs to be insisted. You can immediately pour it into glasses and drink in small sips, enjoying the delicate taste and pleasant aroma. Such a work of art does not even have to bite. The main thing is to know the norm and not go too far with the quantity.
