Wanting to get an early crop of vegetables, many plant greenhouses. But the majority do not know about the rules for caring for them, about the ways to prevent various diseases. But after the appearance of some kind of infection, the probability that it will hit the entire planting in the shortest possible time indoors is great. In order to prevent pepper diseases in greenhouses, first of all, it is necessary to treat its walls, crossbars, glass and even disinfect the soil - this is the prevention of infection.
In addition, the seeds must be etched before planting. In this way, a number of fungal, viral and bacterial infections that can infect plants can be prevented. For disinfection, a dark purple solution of potassium permanganate is used (it is done this way: 1 g of crystals is dissolved in a glass of hot water). Seeds should lie in it for about 30 minutes, after which they must be washed.
But even with such pre-sowing preparation it is not always possible to avoid problems, and pepper diseases in greenhouses are not uncommon. So, it happens that gardeners notice a white coating on plants - this is the first sign of stem rot. To prevent the disease from spreading through the greenhouse, it is necessary to stop watering, start actively ventilating the greenhouses, remove all leaves and stepsons from the bush to a fork, and remove the plaque with a rag. All damaged places must be treated with a potassium permanganate solution and sprinkled with ash.
Also, many pepper lovers are familiar with a disease such as columnar. It manifests itself as follows: bare branches stretch upward, on the leaves that begin to fade, a mosaic pattern appears, and the fruits suffer - they become ugly and woody. If you notice signs of this
pepper disease in greenhouses, immediately dig up the damaged bushes and burn them.
Another infection that this plant suffers from is late blight. You can recognize this type of pepper seedlings disease if you carefully examine the leaves and fruits. Brown-brown spots appear on them, the affected peppercorns begin to rot. It is quite difficult to deal with the disease if the seeds have not been previously etched. Although you should not despair, spraying with special agents often helps to get rid of late blight. And contributes to the development of this pepper disease in greenhouses, excessive air humidity in combination with a sharp cooling at night.
In addition, peppers can be affected by diseases such as early dry spotting and brown spotting. These diseases of
sweet pepper, photos of the manifestations of which can be seen above, can cause crop loss. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the level of humidity, temperature in the greenhouse, treat the plants with Bordeaux liquid, which helps to fight many infections.
Plants can also be affected by aphids or spider mites. To combat them, it is enough to spray the seedlings with insecticides that quickly decompose (for example, βKarbofosβ or βKeltanβ).
