Improving the efficiency of the enterprise as a basis for successful business

How to increase the efficiency of the enterprise? In our opinion, it is very simple. Increasing the efficiency of an enterprise will occur only when it is possible to remove everything that prevents it from working efficiently. The fact is that not only revenue, cost and expenses are the main indicators that reflect the effective activity of the enterprise. Often, such an indicator as the performance of each employee is not used. But the laws of economic activity say that the larger the profit per representative of the company, the more efficient the company, the higher its competitiveness and net profit. In other words, labor productivity is the main guarantee of success - this is the main competitive advantage of any company over other enterprises.

Since ancient times, a successful business has been inextricably linked with increased labor productivity, high productivity brings high dividends; the same component helps the enterprise to survive in the modern market and gives an increase in the efficiency of the enterprise. We give a concrete example. Imagine two competing companies. Suppose they work in the same market, their customers are similar, the number of employees is approximately the same, that is, they are in approximately the same “weight category”. Like all companies, they make deals with customers. And now, according to the results of activities, one of the companies concluded one hundred and fifty transactions a month, and the other company is not able to make fifty transactions. Why did you get such different numbers? Perhaps because, with a load of fifty transactions, the second company is operating at the limit of its capabilities. So due to what is this happening? It turns out that everything is not so complicated. There is a main criterion - the average time a company spends on servicing one transaction. A large number of people participate in the transaction, from the storekeeper to the manager, and each one at a certain stage spends a certain time on the transaction. Often the time spent by company employees on secondary issues leads the company to losses. The head of the company is forced to pay for the ineffective process. It is necessary to analyze the effectiveness of the enterprise at each stage with subsequent adjustment of plans. The situation described below is collective. But it is derived, on average, from those analytical reports that were provided by a large number of companies interested in having their company improve their business performance.

Let us analyze the effectiveness of the enterprise in stages for clarity. When searching for a manager, a client was found. He was put up with a commercial offer, the customer details were taken in advance. Usually these details are entered in a special form in order to create a commercial offer. Go to Word. The customer approved the proposal and now we need to draw up the proposed contract. The employee sends the client’s documents to the lawyer, he also inserts these documents into his own programs (note that both people in the company are engaged in the same work). Yes, and he does it slowly, because "things cannot be turned around." The manager is nervous, because he has no idea whether they deal with the contract at all ?! Such actions are called opacity of the business. After driving the lawyer in, he prepares the work, and then sends it to the manager. Manager forwards to the customer. The customer finds some simple mistakes. Example: In the surname column is the surname of a completely alien person, as the lawyer, in a hurry, forgot to correct (change) the name Pupkin in the "fish". Then the manager and the lawyer jointly correct the deficiencies in the contract, and this time they succeed. Customer needs to invoice. Accounting is engaged in this business, which, in turn, also enters data and the subject of the account into its programs, spending considerable time on this. And only after that the manager gets all the information again and draws up all this, for example, with an E-mail letter. No increase in the efficiency of the enterprise here is impossible in principle, since the departments interact only indirectly.

Only the introduction of a modern modular programmatic scheme of electronic document management can drastically change the situation here, when a program with a legal, financial, accounting and logistic module is launched from the moment of receiving the application, and the application travel time in each module is strictly regulated automatically.

As practice shows, such programs have become very popular recently, since when they are introduced, the increase in the efficiency of the enterprise takes place at times.
