It is not worthwhile to cover the dishes in which the potatoes are fried for the first time, since in this case the resulting dish can be called stewed rather than fried, it is better to do this in the last few minutes of frying. It is also not recommended to salt food in advance, since salt can inhibit the formation of crusts. Before you fry potatoes, you should decide on your taste preferences. To get potatoes with a crust, it is worth chopping a thin straw and frying it in large quantities of oil over high heat. If another option is needed, then potatoes cut into large slices are fried over low heat, in dishes covered with a lid.
If we talk about how to fry potatoes with mushrooms, then there are quite a few recipes, but there are also some tricks here. It is better to pre-fry or boil the mushrooms, only then add to the potatoes. Spices that can be chosen to taste will help improve the taste of the dish. A little mayonnaise or sour cream, added during cooking, will make potatoes with mushrooms more saturated and aromatic.
