When you buy a new phone on the Android OS, the first thing that comes up is: "How do I save phone numbers?" It turns out that this is not such a big problem, as moving phone numbers from one gadget to another is possible in several ways.
How to transfer contacts from Android to Android?
There are a lot of ways to transfer the phone book directly from a phone based on the Android OS to another. All of them are simple and take no more than 5 minutes.
Via bluetooth
The first thing that comes to mind is to transfer contacts from Android to Android using Bluetooth. This method has long been known to everyone, since it was very popular on push-button phones. However, with the advent of Android, almost nothing has changed in it.
The first thing you need to do is turn on the Bluetooth on both devices. Next, turn on the device discovery system. On some, it is always disabled to protect the user from transferring obscure files. Go to Settings / Bluetooth. We put a checkmark in front of âVisible to othersâ on both gadgets, and then we search for devices on one of them.
We find the right one (most likely, it will be the first in the list, but just in case we look at its name), and then click on it to connect. You may need to come up with a password for a more secure connection and enter it on another phone. Having connected, we begin data transfer.
We go into the phone book. In the settings, click âMark severalâ or âMark allâ, and then click on âSendâ, âVia Bluetoothâ in the same place. Accepted on another gadget.
Save to SD card
Few people know, but contacts can be saved to internal memory or micro SD. To do this, go to the phone book, enter the options and click âImport / Exportâ. From the list, select âExport to SD cardâ. It is important to remember the save path that will be specified (most likely, the file will be saved in the system folder). You can transfer contacts from Android to Android from the save directory via Bluetooth, email, sending to the cloud. Having received the list of numbers on another gadget, we go into contacts, open âImport / Exportâ, where we select âImport from SD cardâ.
On the SIM card
This method can be used in a situation where other methods are physically impossible, for example, to transfer numbers from an old dialer.
For this method, all phone numbers must be on the SIM card. We insert the SIM card with the phone book into the smartphone and transfer the data in any convenient way.
Transfer via computer
You can also transfer contacts from Android to Android via PC. To do this, you need to install a special program on the PC, for example MOBILedit! Download, install.
Immediately after installation, the utility will offer to download the driver database. To save time, we ship them only for the devices of the brands we need. Before transferring contacts to Android, you need to prepare a gadget. Go to the "Settings / Features for Developers" and check the item "Debugging via USB". We connect to the PC via the USB cable, run the program.
After starting, you will need to select the type and purpose of the connection. In our case, select Phone \ Cable connection. Click "Next", after which the automatic scanning of connections will begin. When the gadget is found, select it and click Finish. Next, in the left pane, click on the Phonebook section and click on Export in the toolbar at the top. We select the save location, call it and in the column "File Type" select CSV.
We connect the second smartphone to the computer via cable, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, before transferring the contacts from Android to Android. The connection order is exactly the same. After that, click on the AImport button in the upper toolbar and load the previously exported file. Next, go to the phoneâs contacts, click âImportâ and load the address book.
Via google
Another way to transfer contacts from Android to Android is through Google+. To get started, you also need to save the phone book in one file and transfer it in any convenient way (USB cable, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cloud, e-mail). Now go to Gmail. Each user of "Android" should have it, since without it you will not download a single application from the market. We go to google.com and log in to your account, after which we go to the profile. In the upper right corner, click on the nine squares and select âMailâ from the list. Itâs easier to get here at gmail.com or mail.google.com. Next, click on the âGmailâ button and select âContacts / Contacsâ from the drop-down list.
In the page that opens, click on "More" - "Import."
Download the phone book saved in CSV or vCard format .
To transfer data from Google to Android, you need to export it in the same CSV format to your hard drive, reset it to your phone and import it into the number database. Why then would such a cumbersome method be needed? Its advantages are that in Google the data is saved, they can be edited and new ones added.
In addition, in the future it will be possible to simply synchronize with the Gmail inbox, after which all contacts will be available on the phone after synchronization. If you synchronize with other applications (Facebook, VKontakte, Skype), you can see the contacts from them in the list of phone numbers.
