Children's poetry is a difficult genre for poets, but kids love it very much. The thing is that the great predecessor poets set the bar very high in this genre. Who does not know the "Little Humpbacked Horse" or "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish"? Our article talks about the current poet, our contemporary, who writes fascinating poetic tales for children.
On the formation of a children's poet
Vladimir Hlynov was born on November 16, 1958 in the city of Zheleznodorozhny, near Moscow. He fell in love with Russian poetry since childhood, and as a child he began to compose and rhyme. Later he will say: "A poet is not a profession, it is a state of man." His parents instilled love for the word of art, who adored the poetry of Pushkin and Nekrasov. He composed his first fairy tale “Tishka Tishka”, studying in the fifth grade.
Although the poet Vladimir Hlynov has been composing poetry regularly since 1974, he first published his tale only in the mid-90s, when he worked at the Paris Commune shoe factory in Moscow. The newspaper of this enterprise, called Kommunar, helped him to publish the Bear Tishka for the first time.
The factory workers liked the creation of the poet. And the image of the protagonist appealed to the children. With the light hand of Khlynov, various stories and cartoons with this hero appeared.
Overview of the poet. Club "Zakharovsky Parnassus"
Now, after many years of poetic experience (since 1974, the poet has published more than 30 children's books), Vladimir Khlynov is a welcome guest among journalists interested in cultural life. His books have long been bestsellers; publishers are eager to print them. From under his pen came poetry tales loved by little readers:
- "Ah yes cabbage soup!".
- “Long live the dumplings!”
- "Like a pear a meteorite has become."
- "Forest commotion."
- "Pehorsky waterfall."
- "About Dima-baby and cockroach Proshka."
- "Spring".
- "The Tale of Carlos and his friends in Tsaritsyno."
- "The Tale of Kotofey, the luminous fisherman."
He also writes adult poetry: philosophical, lyrical.
Today, Vladimir Khlynov is a sought-after poet, a member of the Zakharovsky Parnassus poetry club, and often performs with his works in kindergartens and schools. In communication with his young readers, he follows the advice of Korney Chukovsky: to talk with them as with adults. Indeed, even young children are often interested in serious things: they grow up and often want to know whether they are going the right way in life.
Together with his colleagues in the club, he worked hard to organize children's poetry conferences in Pushkin places, Zakharovo and Vyazema estates.
It is noteworthy that sponsorship in support of the literary club was provided by the enterprise where he once worked - “Paris Commune”. But the poet is not indebted to factory workers either. Their children also participate in visits to Pushkin places.
Conclusion
It is wonderful when not only teachers talk with children. After a meeting with the poet, teachers and educators note that the children have an increased interest in the book, that they begin to appreciate literature lessons more.
