Of course, even from the “richest” collection of books that exists in the world, the most valuable for most children born in the Soviet and Russian eras, is the “immortal” work about Malysh and Carlson, once created by a truly talented writer from Sweden Astrid Lindgren.
At the same time, everyone will agree that a lot of answers can be given to the question: “Why?”
So, "Carlson and the Kid." The summary of the above work can be considered unconditional proof that this is a kind of guide to life, in which you can find answers to a huge number of questions. The tale once again reminds adults that you can’t take everything too seriously, there must be a place and a joke in life.
Undoubtedly, this tale can be considered one of the priceless treasures of world literature, which is replete with humor and “winged” expressions.
What is this tale about, in which the main characters are Carlson and Toddler. Summary, alas, not all children of the "modern era" know. And this is a huge omission of their parents. We will try to fill this gap.
In an ordinary Swedish city, a very ordinary child lives, who has parents, brother and sister. Sometimes it seems to the Kid that his relatives devote little time to him, and he feels a little lonely, experiencing a huge need for friendship. Parents refused even a request to have a little puppy. And then Carlson appears on the horizon ...
Who is it? He is presented to everyone as "a man in his prime." In fact, he is a small, plump and self-confident person, while absolutely not devoid of charm. Immediately imbued with sympathy.
Reading this book, with each new chapter you are simply amazed at what “extravagant” inventions are so much for Carlson and the Kid. The summary of this wonderful work is useful for every child to know, and not then to begin to imitate the "cheerful little man", but to learn to value friendship. Carlson becomes a reliable and loyal friend for the Kid, despite all his pranks and leprosy, they will always come to the aid of each other. What are the characters of the main characters, such unusual adventurers as Carlson and Kid? A brief summary, when the reader becomes familiar with it, will provide an answer to this question.
Carlson, in addition to being the most well-fed, claims that he is also the best in everything. His favorite phrase: “Isn’t it time for us to have fun?” And the kid gladly agrees with him. They explode steam engines with Carlson, play hide and seek together, and once the "plump little man" invites the Kid to his small house on the roof, where they drink coffee and eat delicious buns. Carlson here wants to have fun, and they ambush the famous thieves - Filet and Rulle. However, Toddler’s parents do not want to believe in Carlson’s existence and, regretting that they do not devote enough time to him, in the end they give him a puppy for his Birthday, which the child is extremely happy about.
Subsequently, the parents of the Kid leave, and he is looked after by a hired housekeeper, whose name is Freken Bock. Carlson, of course, does not miss the opportunity to play a joke on her, dragging her buns directly "from under her nose."
In the future, Uncle Julius comes to visit the Kid, who eventually becomes the husband of Freken Bock. "The best in the world" cannot but leave this fact unattended - he always wants to be an honored guest at their wedding ... Of course, this fairy tale content is only brief. "Baby and Carlson" is a voluminous work, the retelling of which will take a lot of time.
Of course, Carlson is not without childhood weaknesses, which cannot but cause laughter. At the same time, the personality of the Kid is only developing, he constantly thinks and reasones what is bad and what is good. Often, he is even overly reasonable, although his friend’s mischief is incredibly fascinating.
The tale is simply "crammed" with elements of witty humor and expressions that have long been "sorted into quotes." What are only: "Trifles - a matter of everyday life" or "And your milk ran away."
Of course, the content of "Baby and Carlson" from the very beginning to the very end is saturated with kindness and light irony. It is definitely worth recommending this book to children for reading - it will give them unforgettable moments of joy!
