Blerim Dzhemaili was born on April 12, 1986 in Yugoslavia with his Macedonian parents, but already in 1990 the family moved to Zurich, Switzerland. It was there at the age of nine that Jemaili began his football career by enrolling in the academy of the local club Oerlikon. But there he spent only one year, eventually moving to another academy - at the Unterstrass club. He got into a really large club only at the age of fourteen, when he moved to Young Fellows Juventus in 2000, but after just one season, he finally reached the very top by joining the academy of one of the country's largest clubs, Zurich. It was with him in 2004 that Blerim Jemaili signed a professional contract. But by that time, he had been in the first team for a whole year, having played 30 matches and scoring two goals. Over the next three years, Jemaili entrenched in the base and became one of the club’s key players, having played 111 matches in it and scoring nine goals.

Bad transition to Bolton

In 2007, Jemaili decided that it was time for him to go up, so he did not extend the counterattack with Zurich in order to sign an agreement with the English Bolton. But when he moved to England, he realized that he was not expected there at all. As a result, for the whole season he played only one match, missing six months due to an injury - and was sent on loan to Torino.

Rent and transfer to Torino

In Torino, the player immediately began to play at the base, having spent as many as 32 matches during the season and scoring two goals. Naturally, the club immediately agreed to redeem the tarnsphere for two million euros, but at the same time instantly leased the young Swiss to Parma, who wanted to gradually acquire the rights to the player if they showed themselves to the best.

Continuing a career in Parma

Jemaili did not immediately start playing in Parma - during the lease he suffered an injury again and had to fight for a place in the line-up, but during the season he played 21 matches, scoring one goal, and was impressed by the club's management, which paid one million for the rent euros, and then still gradually bought the rights to the player for seven million euros. The next season with Jemaili turned out to be even more successful - he entered the field 31 times and scored another goal. By this, he attracted the attention of one of the largest clubs in Italy, Napoli, which he could not refuse the offer. As a result, in 2011, Blerim moved to the Neapolitan club for nine million euros.

The game for Napoli

For the first time since the period in Zurich, Jemaili stayed at the club for a long time - he spent three whole years at Napoli, having won twice the Italian Cup. He became an important base player during the first two seasons, but in the third he didn’t get so much game practice anymore. As a result, he played 109 matches for the Neapolitan club, scoring 18 goals in them. In 2014, a year before the end of the contract, Blerim was sold to Galatasaray for two and a half million euros.

Last period

The stable segment ended, and Dzhemaili again began to travel to clubs. He spent a year in a Turkish club, playing in 20 matches and scoring one goal. After that, he was leased to FC Genoa, where he also played 20 matches, scoring two goals already. And in the summer of 2016, for one and a half million euros, Jemaili was sold to Bologna, for which he played in seven games this season, having given one assist. However, the player will not stay in Bologna either - the club has already agreed on a transfer with the Canadian Montreal, where the midfielder will transfer in the summer of 2017.
