Career start and rental at Cavese
Lorenzo Insigne was born on June 4, 1991 in Naples, and in terms of football his future was a foregone conclusion. From an early age, he began to go to the academy of the local club "Napoli", to which he became attached. Therefore, he did not change the base and spent all the time there. As a result, in 2009, when the young player turned eighteen, he was offered a professional contract - all that he could only dream about. However, of course, Lorenzo Insigne, like any other footballer, wanted to play, but in Napoli he did not have such an opportunity. For six months, he played only one match, but the club management saw in the young flank player, who was also able to act as a playmaker and even go down in the center of the field, great potential. Therefore, already in winter, he was sent to rent in one of the clubs of the lower divisions under the name "Kavese". There he played ten matches, but did not score a single goal. Naturally, this was not enough to convince the club management of the viability of the football player, so the lease continued.

This time, Lorenzo Insigne, whose growth was also an obstacle for him, went to the next club of the lower divisions. Now it was Foggia, and there already a 163-cm footballer showed that he was capable of a lot of things. In 33 matches played over a one-year lease, he scored 19 goals. It was an impressive result, but still the league level was too low to immediately accept a young, but low and dubious winger in the main team. The heyday of Pescara
Many thought that Insigne was able to show the result only at the lowest level, so when he was sent on loan to Pescara, who played in Italy’s second strongest division, many foreshadowed the failure of the young player. But he proved the opposite to everyone - Insigne played as many as 38 matches, in which he accumulated 20 goals. Naturally, this proof was already absolutely vivid, the leadership was convinced that they had a real talent, so from the next year Lorenzo began to play for the main team of Napoli.

Having won Serie B with Pescara, Insigne naturally aimed to win the top division with his home club. From the first season, he began to go out in the first team, and although Lorenzo did not score as much as in the second division, he was extremely useful for the team, and everyone recognized this. In 2012, he managed to win the first trophy with Napoli. Unfortunately, this was not the championship in Serie A, but only the Italian Cup, but this was already impressive.
