Leadership and leadership, as well as their importance in managing a company

When comparing such concepts as leadership and leadership, quite a lot of people often consider them almost identical, but this is fundamentally not so. The confusion arises because often many bosses become direct leaders in their structural divisions, which provides a basis for the similarity of these concepts. However, this does not always happen this way, since any director has the right to manage as a result of his social position, as enshrined in labor law and the company's charter. But sometimes he may not be a real leader for his subordinates, especially if a person does not possess certain volitional qualities.

A true leader is that person who, due to his personal qualities, can lead people, since the latter are respected and fully trusted. It is important to understand that leadership and leadership differ from each other in that the latter arises in any society due to the characteristics of the human psyche and worldview. They are not born leaders, but become - this simple truth is known to everyone, therefore each person potentially aspires to management and leadership, however, due to the diversity of human society, everyone, in the end, wins the position that he manages to achieve.

It is thanks to this psychological peculiarity that human progress exists, because leaders have the magnificent ability to inspire hundreds and thousands of people to do something, as a result of which the world is gradually transforming. Of course, leaders by no means can always be good and honest people, and history knows a lot of evil geniuses and tyrants who did not seek creation, but destruction. However, in this aspect, we will show true leadership and leadership in the organization, and its main features. So, here are the basic qualities that a true leader should have:

  1. The ability to be equal to their immediate subordinates.
  2. Always and everywhere take responsibility.
  3. Seeks to mediate between all employees.
  4. To unite the team into a single team, which is faced with specific and achievable goals.
  5. At the right time, make non-standard decisions and find a way out of any situation.
  6. Properly allocate human resources in the face of a lack of time.
  7. To be able to take justifiable risks, if possible, achieve tremendous success.
  8. Understand the true meaning of a leader and his role in any organization.

Leadership and leadership are closely interconnected, since any leader almost always becomes the informal leader of all those people who follow him. The best performance is shown by the practice when the same person becomes both a leader and an informal leader, because in this case the company almost always succeeds due to its cohesion and mutual assistance. If the leader in the team was not the boss, but another person, then the competent leader should select an informal leader and take him as his assistant, thereby ensuring support from the team. In no case should one go to conflict and seek to infringe on such a subordinate, since in this case the official leader will only turn the team against himself, which will affect the overall labor productivity. That is why leadership and leadership play a crucial role in achieving the task.

Among other things, there are various styles of leadership and leadership that are used in organizing the work of various enterprises - from ministries to small shops:

  1. Authoritarian - characterized by short orders, lack of condescension, as well as the position of a leader outside the group.
  2. Democratic - characterized by a friendly tone, an objective assessment of employees, as well as the position of a leader within the group.
  3. Assentive - characterized by the absence of clear positions, the desire of the leader to be outside the team and not control the production process.

In conclusion, it should be emphasized that only a true leader can be a good leader, in which the company will succeed.
