Multiple world synchronized swimming champion Alla Shishkina recently completed her active sports career. It is hard to believe that on account of the young pretty girl a whole collection of gold awards of absolutely all the largest international tournaments, two titles of the Olympic champion. She came to the pool as a seven-year-old crumb and stayed here for twenty years, falling in love with more than one sports fan.
Change tutu to swimsuit
The future synchronized swimming star Alla Shishkina was born in Moscow in 1989. Her parents were concerned that their daughter would develop comprehensively, from the age of five, Alla was engaged in music and ballet. However, at the age of seven, a decisive turning point occurred in her life. The little ballerina was watching TV and could not take her eyes off the synchronized swimming competitions.
The girl was simply delighted with such an explosive combination of music, sport and dance, she was very impressed for a few more days and set her parents an ultimatum requirement to take her to the synchronized swimming section. Alla Shishkina was able to insist on her own, and soon found herself in the pool, where a completely new life began for her.
Serious sports almost leave no time for ordinary children's fun, Alla barely had time to throw her school backpack home and flew to training, where she worked hard until late in the evening.
First victories
Year after year, the persistent girl tightened her skills, dreaming of joining the “golden” group, winning all major tournaments. The competition for a place in the Russian national team was very fierce, the level of each applicant was very high. In 2008, Alla Shishkina was very disappointed in her life when she was unable to join the main team.
This was just the year of the Olympics, and the legendary coach Tatyana Pokrovskaya, before the decisive start, relied on proven fighters, leaving promising juniors behind.
However, Alla was not discouraged and continued to stubbornly prepare for new challenges, which helped her to earn a call to the main team already in 2009. The World Cup in Rome was the first major tournament in the biography of Alla Shishkina. Here, the Russian athletes had no equal, the squad Tatyana Pokrovskaya confidently beat all her competitors in the technical and free programs, and the Muscovite left Italy for two-time world champion.
The most difficult task for any Russian synchronized athlete is getting into the national team, winning a fierce competition at the national level. After this, victories at the international level come in automatic mode. Before her first Olympics, Alla Shishkina, a member of the Russian synchronized swimming team, managed to become the world champion three more times, participating in victorious performances of the team in all three types of group competitions at the world championship in Shanghai in 2011.

Any athlete's dream is to win the Olympics, Alla Shishkina was no exception. Together with the team, she was preparing for her first major start in life in real combat mode. Tatyana Pokrovskaya, the coach of the Russian national team, is a real perfectionist in her work and does not let her girls out of the pool until she achieves perfect refinement of all technical elements and complete synchronization.
Training synchronized before the start of the Olympics in London lasted ten to twelve hours, the girls literally lived in the water, like mermaids. This was demanded by the status of unconditional favorites of the tournament, obliged to win in any situation.
According to Alla Shishkina, in London, synchronized athletes met with overwhelming psychological pressure from rivals. The main rivals - Spaniards and Chinese - searched for any flaws in the training runs of the Russian programs and loudly described them in all interviews to numerous media.
Nevertheless, Alla Shishkina together with her teammates performed perfectly, without giving reason to doubt her overwhelming advantage and won her first Olympic gold medal.
The Russian synchronized synchronizer managed to avoid serious injuries during her career and invariably helped her team dominate the world stage until 2016. Having won the second title of the Olympic champion, Alla Shishkina with a sense of accomplishment announced the end of her glorious career.

Having finished sports, the girl took up the device of her family life.
