Galich Autocrane Plant is the largest Russian enterprise producing hydraulic cranes on a truck chassis. Located in the city of Galich Kostroma region. In addition to truck cranes, GAKZ produces electrical equipment, consumer goods, metal structures and other products.
Becoming
At the beginning of the 20th century, distilleries were located at the GAKZ site. In 1914, they were converted into a factory for sewing soldier's shoes. After the revolution, a chrome factory was organized here. In the 30s, the company was again redesigned for the manufacture of barrels and wooden containers.
In 1945, production was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture, in the shops repair of motors and machines, production of spare parts for agricultural machinery, and tractors was established. The pride of the plant was flax diggers, pumps, ring rollers. More than once factory workers were awarded diplomas of VDNH.
In 1961, GAKZ began to produce bulldozers, mainly tractor attachments. The first model was the single-bucket universal part-turn excavator E-1513, based on the T-16 chassis. The drive of the working mechanisms is carried out from the engine of the diesel chassis D-16, the control mechanisms are lever. For construction in the countryside, a self-propelled excavator model E-1510 was manufactured. Later, the EO-2621 bulldozer was assembled on the basis of the Belarus tractors.
Development
Since 1982, the Galich truck crane factory has been producing widely known truck cranes under the brand name “Galichanin”. This is the only production in the CIS producing such a wide range of hydraulic lifting equipment.
The main model for a long time was a 16-ton KS-4572. Since 1993, KS-4579 of the same carrying capacity was produced on the basis of KrAZ. Since the late 90s, the number of models has increased dramatically. The Galichanin mobile cranes were manufactured on the basis of KamAZ, MAZ, Ural (15-50 tons) and heavyweights based on the MZKT (50-80 tons).
Construction
The design of truck cranes is carried out using powerful computing systems, on which specialized design programs are installed. They allow, before the embodiment of products in metal, to simulate each node, calculate the characteristics of individual units and assembled, and promptly adjust the calculations.
It takes only a few months to design a new Galichanin truck crane. For example, in 2015, five models of various carrying capacities were created from scratch. 3D modeling also allows you to flexibly respond to market requirements and customer wishes.
Production improvement
Galich truck crane plant is constantly being modernized. Equipping the procurement area with modern German precision and plasma cutting complexes has dramatically increased productivity.
Computerized lines are able to cut blanks of sheet metal of ordinary and structural quality, high-strength steels, aluminum. Machining centers in automatic mode according to the specified parameters will cut out spare parts for truck cranes of any configuration.
In 2013, previously mothballed production facilities were reconstructed. A modern welding workshop for the manufacture of metal structures was commissioned. The equipment allows you to dock half-boxes of truck cranes in special assembly stands.
Technology
At GAKZ OJSC, truck-mounted crane jibs are manufactured in a complete production cycle: from processing blanks to assembling final products. Automated systems are used for the production of sections and half-boxes of arrows for equipment with a lifting capacity of 260 tons.
A half-box is bent from sheet blanks on imported bending equipment. For this, in 2012, a press was put into operation with a record effort reaching 1,600 tons. Its specifications allow the manufacture of boom sections up to 12.5 meters long. Thanks to the technology of successive bends on the press, you can give the box any profile.
Since 2001, the Galich Autocrane Plant has mastered the processing and welding of Weldox, Tomex and Optim type steels with strengths of class 640, 700, 960. In 2014, the welding process for welding highly durable Weldox 1100 steels was introduced.
Products
GAKZ today produces a wide range of lifting equipment. The Galichanin truck crane is produced on the basis of Russian KamAZ and the Urals, Belarusian MZKT, and foreign firms Iveco and Volvo.
The current model range includes the following modifications:
- With a loading capacity of 25 t: KS-55713-1 / 4 (departure of an arrow of 21,7 m); KS-55713-L (23.7 m); KS-55713-B (28-31 m); KS-55731 (40 m).
- Payload 30 t: KS-55715 (40 m).
- Payload 32 t: KS-55729-V (30.2 m).
- With a loading capacity of 50 t: KS-65713-1 / 6 (34.1 m); KS-65715-1 / 6 (40 m).
- With a loading capacity of 60 t: KS-65721 (42 m).
- With a loading capacity of 70 t: KS-75721-1 / 8 H&H (42 m).
- With a loading capacity of 100 t: KS-85713 (51 m).
In addition, GAKZ manufactures crane-manipulator units KMU-150, piling units USA-2 and other equipment. There is experience in the assembly of household electrical appliances.
Spare parts for truck cranes
At the Galich plant, special attention is paid to after-sales service. Here, spare parts, components, assemblies for new and previously manufactured models are manufactured. In particular:
- Repair kits for hydraulic supports and hydraulic cylinders.
- Glasses for crane cabins.
- Pulley blocks, supports and sliding plates, slewing rings, fasteners.
- Hydraulic cylinders for hanging, turning / extending, lifting, telescoping.
