Few people know what the handwriting says about a person. But in fact, signs in handwriting can be equated with syndromes in medicine. The size and slope of the letters, as well as the intervals and pressure of the handle, can tell about the character of a person even more than he knows.
Graphology
Not so young as it seems at first glance, the science of graphology will tell you what the handwriting says about the character of a person. She is engaged in a detailed study of the slope of letters, the distance between them, as well as their location on paper. The analysis reveals not only personal qualities, but also future prospects or inclinations.
In fact, the connection between handwriting and the character of a person was noticed back in the Middle Ages. The basis of graphology is considered to be a book written by the Roman historian Suetonius in the distant 16th century. And after a couple of centuries, data on handwriting was systematized by Michon. The final evidence of this connection was the experiments conducted by V. Preyer with the help of hypnosis - he inspired the same person that he had different personality traits, and the subject's handwriting changed dramatically.
General organization of handwriting
In the analysis, the evenness of handwriting is checked first. It depends on which side (positive / negative) this or that personality trait will be considered:
- An even and perfectly organized handwriting shows an active and focused person who is always confident in his own abilities and has no tendency to frequent failures.
- A large, but not quite organized handwriting speaks of impulsivity.
- Small and organized says that its owner uses his own forces wisely.
- Indecisive and timid people show small and very poorly organized handwriting - this is a self-doubt person who retreats at the very first difficulties.
The size
Large or small handwriting will tell about a person’s relationship with people around him. What a small letter size says about a person is that many people want to know, because statistics show that the number of individuals with small handwriting slightly exceeds the number of people who are used to large letters.
To begin with, borders should be designated - letters that are 3 millimeters in height are considered average. Accordingly, small ones - up to 3 mm, and large ones - from 3 mm.
- Owners of large handwriting are always sociable and active, they can support any conversation and cheer up the most boring company.
- Too small letters indicate modesty and unwillingness to attract attention. Although it should be noted that people who write in small handwriting like reflections, it’s hard to wait for bold actions from them.
- And medium-sized letters go to people who can always find compromises. They really value their strength and can adapt to any situation.
Lines and lines
No less important are the lines and lines characterizing a person’s reaction to various external stimuli (surrounding events). Here, the subconscious of the person plays a role, since the line for writing the word is chosen not on the physical level, but on the subconscious:
- Equal lines are observed by a reliable person who will always fulfill a friend’s request and will not fail in difficult situations.
- Fancifully straight lines indicate too many knowledge control questions.
- Rough lines are observed in those who lack strong internal stability.
- The upward line indicates optimism, and the pessimist's owner indicates the downward line.
Intervals
Certain distances between lines and words give a characteristic about the behavior and thinking of a person.
People who are constantly confused are more likely to make a small space between the lines. Handwriting, which speaks of a person who is attentive and makes informed decisions, is a large spacing between lines.
The volume of mental and physical space show the intervals between the words:
- The same spaces between words are found in a person who is able to adequately perceive the external picture and to respect social inequality with respect.
- Distances of different sizes speak of an inconsistent person who communicates only with the people he likes, and simply ignores the rest.
- Narrow gaps characterize a closed person who lets people close to him. Such a person does not require too much personal space, but prefers to be near other people more.
- Large distances between words reveal the owner’s fear of contact with others. It will be very difficult to make acquaintance with such a person, but when approaching him, he will seem a rather interesting conversationalist.
Pressure
Particular attention is paid to what the handwriting says about a person, if the pressure on a pen or pencil can be completely different for the same person. You should know that pressure is a characteristic of this emotional state:
- Strong pressing of a writing object on paper guarantees emotional constancy and stability in all sensations.
- Weak pressure shows the owner as a person who is easily influenced by others. Typically, such people choose for themselves the intellectual sphere of activity, they are susceptible to other personalities, deep feelings are completely absent.
Letters tilt
The characterization of the handwriting tells about the level of emotional reactions, as well as the degree of understanding of others.
It’s quite difficult to find people with perfect calligraphic handwriting, so the most common request is “What does poor human handwriting mean?” In fact, before you consider your own handwriting bad, you should understand this characteristic and the very arrangement of letters:
- The strict verticality of letters hides a calm and calm person, who is often indifferent to others at a time when others experience completely different feelings.
- If the letters are slightly inclined to the right, then this is direct evidence of a mild reaction to the environment. Such a person cannot be called restrained, since before the manifestation of emotions, he first thinks things over carefully.
- An increased inclination to the right shows emotional tension and impulsivity.
- Cool people tilt letters when writing to the left. They protect themselves as much as possible from irritants and often act selfishly towards others.
How employees are selected
In some European countries, personnel are selected according to clear rules, one of which is a graphological examination - this will be the last step in the test. The final decision on accepting an employee for a position is made only after the boss finds out exactly what the person’s handwriting is talking about (examples are below).
Only worthy people are taken to financial positions in the USA. They have to pass rather difficult tests, where handwriting plays an important role. The graphologist can issue a verdict that a person is prone to deception, and then he will be denied.
Passing an examination is not always easy. For example, people whose distinctive feature is a clumsy handwriting, which speaks of a person prone to quarrels and inconstancy, would hardly have received a prestigious position in many countries.
Director
A proactive and creative person is usually considered to be a director. But in order to take this place, one should have the correct handwriting: the letters must be wide and with different sizes, the presence of the correct ratio between the curves and corners is also necessary. In addition, a required feature of the handwriting for the director's position is a straight line or a slightly raised line up.
Top manager
The manager’s personality is a sociable person, restrained and patient. Therefore, to obtain such a position, the administration should know what his handwriting can tell about a person and whether he is suitable for work as a manager in a decent company.
Letters when writing must be decorated with an almost imperceptible amount of decorative elements, their ideal size is medium, and each letter should be rounded.
Head of Public Relations
A cold-blooded and courageous person is ideal for such a position, but the ability to communicate with people in writing should also be present. The handwriting of the head of public relations should be as clear as possible and have its own characteristics: fast writing speed, wide handwriting, letters are interconnected. Most often, the signature of such a person ends with a small stroke.
Financier
An employee of the financial sector must be able to quickly concentrate and have a stable psyche. This is what a man's handwriting says that reads well. Letters should be large, and the distance between words should be large.
Engineer
A person who dreams of working as an engineer needs a lively mind and a quick reaction. The handwriting of such a person is distinguished by rounded letters, where there are some angularities. The distance between words and lines is large enough, and the letters themselves are not too narrow.
Economic worker
A smart person with a sound mind can easily fall into the position of a business worker. But more elite companies still have to figure out what the handwriting says about the person. A candidate for the position must write at a fast pace, while carefully displaying each letter.
Short test
You can optionally take a short test to find out what the person’s handwriting is talking about (the transcript will be lower):
- Record a sentence of 4-5 words in fast and then in slow pace.
- Draw any animal.
- Draw a geometric figure.
- Point the arrow in any direction.
A person quickly responds to a change of scenery, whose handwriting does not differ from his usual one in the first exercise.
The emotions of a painted animal are
a protection of the author’s emotions. The presence of angles in the geometric figure indicates failure, and roundness indicates developed willpower. A straight arrow indicates the presence of the right goals, and a meandering one indicates that a person likes to speak more than to do something.
