The iron ore plant is famous for its unique medicinal properties. The grass is also called popnik and excellently treats various diseases. It is harvested during flowering (from June to July). For medicinal purposes, tubers and aerial parts are used. They are dried, and then useful decoctions, ointments and infusions are prepared.
It is also allowed to use the plant fresh. Healing iron ore grows in Russia and Ukraine, on stony outcrops, clearings, slopes and steppes. The grass contains essential oils and minerals. Scientists are still studying the chemical properties of this plant. They found that it contains tannins, alkaloids, organic acids, flavonoids, starchy substances, vitamins, and saponins were found directly in the tubers.
Often in medical fees, iron ore is found. Grass helps to increase the body's resistance and invigorate. It has already been proven that it has the following healing properties:
- choleretic;
- anti-trichomonas;
- wound healing;
- hemostatic;
- soothing;
- anti-inflammatory;
- antibacterial;
- antipyretic.
Dried iron is widely used to treat burns and purulent wounds. The grass helps patients with rheumatism, in addition, it is recommended to drink infusions from the plant for nervous diseases. It increases blood coagulability, constricts blood vessels and restores the acidity of gastric juice. It is recommended for people with anemia, tuberculosis, malaria, asthma, gastritis, edema, hemorrhoids and anemia.
Zheleznyak (grass) is prescribed for the treatment of the pancreas, it is better to use it after consulting a doctor. To prepare the broth, you need to buy dried grass at the pharmacy (you will need about 10 grams), carefully grind it in a mortar and pour water (only warm - 300 ml.). We send the mixture to the stove and boil for 2-3 minutes. Let the broth brew for about three hours, then filter through cheesecloth and drink 100 grams daily before meals. Therapy lasts at least two weeks.
With tuberculosis and bronchitis, dry leaves are brewed with boiling water as tea and allowed to infuse. Add honey or a little sugar to tea and drink it three times a day. You can make alcohol tincture: the proportions are 5: 1, the roots are poured with alcohol, the broth is kept for 12 days and taken 30 drops 3-4 times a day. This medicinal herb will help relieve cough and sputum discharge.
Zheleznyak helps get rid of cracks, trophic ulcers and hemorrhoids. They make healing baths and soar sore spots. The fluid should completely cover the affected areas. You can make a therapeutic infusion for several days at once and warm it up before the procedure.
The following decoction helps with hemorrhoids: buy a bunch of plant poppy seeds, divide into 5 equal parts and pour one part with milk (5 g), put on fire and boil for about three minutes. Give the broth to infuse for half an hour and drink in strained form throughout the day. Healing infusion relieves inflammation, pain and swelling. The course of therapy is 2 weeks. Then you need to take a 20-day break and repeat the treatment again.
Since the plant is not toxic, therefore, it does not cause negative consequences. However, according to experts, it is not recommended to abuse the grass for people with constipation and high blood pressure.
