ABRO sealant
ABRO Multipurpose Sealant is designed to repair or replace most types of gaskets found in a car. It is made on the basis of silicone and polymers, has high elasticity and strength, is able to take absolutely any shape, instantly freezes. Silicone sealant ABRO successfully withstands tensile, compression and shear and does not collapse completely under the influence of water, automobile oils and antifreeze. It also has high resistance to brake fluid and gasoline.

ABRO sealant can be of several types, which differ in physical properties and color:

Red gasket sealant ABRO
This tool is designed to replace and repair gaskets operating at very high temperatures (retains its properties when heated to 343 0 C), it is safe for cars with oxygen sensors. The red ABRO sealant can be used to replace almost all gaskets found in automobiles. It is resistant to all motor fluids. After drying, the product remains flexible.
Black and gray sealants ABRO
Black (as well as transparent and blue) sealant can be used for most types of damaged gaskets, and can withstand heat up to 260 0 C. The tool can create a gasket in a few seconds, easily takes on any shape, endowed with high strength and elasticity, and is resistant to deformation and cracking. Also not afraid of exposure to water, oil, transmission fluids and antifreeze.
ABRO Gray Silicone Sealant was specifically developed for repairing gaskets in Japanese car brands, but it can also be used in automobile engines made in the USA and Europe. The sealant is resistant to almost all fluids present in the car, with the exception of gasoline. This is an ideal tool for forming gaskets in such components of the car as the gearbox, intake manifold, water pumps, thermostat housing, oil pan. The composition is high temperature (can withstand up to 343 Β° C), odorless.
Mode of application
- First of all, it is necessary to remove fragments of the old damaged gasket and clean the surface well.
- Then remove the cap from the sealant, pierce the protective foil and put on the attached nozzle.
- Next, you need to cut off the tip of the nozzle so that a hole of the required size is formed.
- Sealant is applied on the entire mating surface around the perimeter, forming a layer with a thickness of about 2-3 mm.
- Before assembly, allow to dry for 10 minutes. The formed gasket will dry completely after 24 hours.
Precautionary measures
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of accident, rinse with warm water. Remove sealant from the skin with a dry cloth. ABRO sealant is used for good ventilation. The product must be carefully protected from children.
After use, close the tube with a cap. Shelf life while maintaining tightness is not limited.
