Everyone perfectly understands that if we take two currencies and recalculate them, in accordance with the exchange rate, then we can theoretically purchase the same amount of this product in both countries.
There is a theory of purchasing power parity, according to which it is closely related to the exchange rate. If the established parity between the two countries is violated and the purchasing power of citizens of the first country is higher than in the second, then it will be more profitable to buy goods in the second and sell it in the first.
In practice, current exchange rates differ significantly from parity, since often the price of a product is influenced by various factors: customs duties, transportation costs, various restrictions on imports and exports. The greater the discrepancy between parity and the exchange rate, the more changes in volumes and export structure will be needed.
Railway
The railway also has the abbreviation PPP; its decoding is suburban rolling stock. It includes rail transport, which operates flights of no more than 200 kilometers. The rolling stock of the suburban train (PPS) includes:
- electric trains, consisting of motor, trailed and head sections;
- diesel trains, consisting of head and trailed cars;
- rail buses (rail buses);
- trains from locomotive-hauled wagons (in life they are often called "Cuckoo", "Motanya", "Foundling").
Law enforcement
The well-known abbreviation PPP in the police, the decoding of which is the name of the unit that is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Its task is to ensure order in the streets, to suppress riots. The full name of the unit is the patrol service. It is responsible not only for the order on the street, but also the duty to protect the order during mass rallies and demonstrations.
Other decoding of faculty
In a car, the faculty is the front passenger seat. This abbreviation can be read infrequently, most likely, car drivers themselves call it that, but nonetheless its abbreviation will be PPP.
Payment and access systems (PPS). The scope of their application in modern life is huge, they are installed wherever it is necessary to record and control a large number of visitors: metro, water parks, stadiums, car parks and so on.

In addition to Russian ones, some foreign organizations are also named, for example, PPS - this is an abbreviation for the Polish party of socialists. Obviously, this abbreviation can be applied to many organizations and names.
