Human life is full of dangers and threats. Natural disasters, terrorism, civil wars, tragic accidents of enormous proportions - all these situations often lead to serious hardships of a demographic nature. But it’s one thing when life breaks off due to the influence of external factors that cannot be predicted and avoided, and it’s completely different when a person unconsciously takes his life by his own actions.
Now, in order to survive in the newly formed society with its moral principles and needs, it is necessary to be at least resistant to the influence of the surrounding society. The imposed concepts of the new-fangled preferences of youth and the ultra-modern movements of today, unfortunately, can not only adversely affect the young generation, but also slowly but surely lead to its degradation, and subsequently even to death. We are talking about such a large-scale problem of the current society as drugs.
What are drugs
Drugs are a pernicious phenomenon that has several different concepts in deciphering its meaning. Types of narcotic drugs in their huge variational series contribute to the differentiation of this drug into various categories of stupefying substances that look different, are used differently and are absorbed into the body in different ways. Their influence ultimately boils down to one thing: a person gains physical and psychological dependence and puts himself on the treacherous hook of the fatal impact of the most terrible substance in the world.
Drugs are a combination of psychotropic, stupefying, poisonous substances that, acting on the central nervous system, destroy brain cells, causing the most severe form of physical and psychological dependence. Drugs are the worst enemy of today's society, which is actively influenced by modern youth movements: today, not a single nightclub, not a single party, not a single company of young people, especially men, can do without those individuals who use illegal drugs. Drugs are a poisonous snake that takes root in the human body from the moment of its first use and begins its destructive path through blood circulation and tissue cells to tuberculosis, jaundice, syphilis, AIDS, coma, and even death.
How drugs affect human health
The types of narcotic drugs and their effect to date have reached enormous proportions. The worst thing is that various kinds of psychotropic drugs have sales loopholes in all corners of the world. A huge number of types of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs today spread their influence to the masses, starting with young people in their teens and ending with older people. Absolutely everyone can fall under the harmful effects of malicious drugs: from a schoolboy to a pensioner, from an unemployed to a businessman, from a bully to a mother of three children - there are absolutely no restrictions on the poison that is now spreading by huge criminal drug trafficking organizations. It is noteworthy that these are entire empires of underground criminal business, and the fight against them, unfortunately, cannot be called high-quality and top-level in any country in the world.

Why is the fatal dose of ill-fated pills so dangerous? It all depends on the type of narcotic drug: the determination of its pharmacological group and genus of origin helps to establish specific symptoms and predetermine specific consequences from the use of a particular stupefying substance. But in general, one thing can be said: getting into the human body in any of the possible ways - by injection, intravenously, orally or through inhalation, a deadly substance spreads through the body with lightning speed through actively circulating blood circulation and causes widespread damage to the general condition of a person:
- being absorbed into tissues and destroying muscle compounds, a toxic substance causes powerful damage to the physical health of a person;
- making his way to the internal organs, the killer means leads to their imminent dysfunction and possible extensive sepsis;
- hitting the central nervous system, the drug causes irreparable harm to the mental health of the user.
Varieties of narcotic effects
The concept and types of drugs are determined by the directions of their classification. Experts indicate several signs by which it is customary to distinguish all drugs existing in nature:
- by source of origin - natural and synthetic;
- by force of action - light and potent;
- according to the form of manufacture - tableted, injectable, powder, herbal;
- in pharmacology - analgesic, psychostimulating, hallucinogenic, psychedelic, dissociative, tranquilizing.
Each direction includes a lot of subgroups. This problem has become so urgent that many scientific papers with a detailed description of each drug have already been written on this topic, and a huge number of dissertations have been defended. Types of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances are actively expanding within the framework of their direction, every day increasing the zone of their distribution to the broad masses of dependent or unconsciously seeking addiction people.
Natural narcotic substances
According to the source of origin, all drugs are divided into natural and artificial. Natural products include the following main types of drugs:
- cocaine - is a leader in the distribution of potent harmful substances;
- opium - made on a poppy basis;
- marijuana - grown in the form of bushes of various varieties of hemp;
- mescaline is a rather rare, but occurring drug from South American cacti;
- psilocybin is a drug based on the action of poisonous mushrooms.
Natural drugs, for the most part consisting of opiates, are strong analgesics and have an anesthetic effect that helps to eliminate pain. The main disadvantage of this type of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is the actively manifested feeling of euphoria, which takes the human mind into oblivion, improves mood, gives a feeling of bliss and serenity. How good is the sensation during the use of these drugs, the effect after sobering is so terrible: a person begins to “break”, he becomes easily vulnerable, nervous, observes a feeling of fear and anxiety, the need to get a dose of “high” again.
Synthetic drugs
The use of synthetics is no less terrible in its consequences. The main types of narcotic drugs and their effect are manifested in a detrimental effect on the human body due to the chemical compounds taken internally. Artificial drugs are produced in laboratories by synthesizing often cheap harmful substances. Just think, they may include match sulfur, household bleach, used only externally iodine and even gasoline! You can imagine this explosive mixture inside a person and imagine what then happens to the internal organs.
Synthetic drugs are even more scary than natural ones. Although the dosage threshold is significantly higher than that of opiates and natural psychotropics, and the possibility of overdose is minimized due to this, hallucinations caused by the use of synthetics can easily lead the addict to a state of unconscious fear and, as a result, to suicide.
The main types of narcotic drugs from the category of synthetic are the following:
- opioids - methadone and heroin powders;
- amphetamines - tablets “ecstasy”, “speed”, etc .;
- psychedelics - LSD brands, salt powders;
- tranquilizers - barbiturates and similar sleeping pills;
- inhalants - benzene, solvents, paints.
Soft drugs
The types of narcotic drugs that are grown as plants, that is, differ in natural origin and are used as inhalations or smoking, belong to the category of lungs. These are intoxicating substances such as hash, marijuana, hemp, and cannabis derivatives. Compared to the group of heavy drugs, these types of drugs are addictive much slower and do not lead to such devastating consequences as synthetics, for example.
Strong substances
Potent drugs include opioids. Although they are also often made from vegetation - poppy straw and poppy seed box, their effect is very strong in the central nervous system. Designed originally to quench severe pains for medical purposes, these drugs are illegally used for the manufacture of powerful narcotic substances. In case of an overdose of drugs such as heroin, morphine, desomorphine, codeine, the drug user expects death.
Smoking drugs
The smoking group of narcotic drugs includes:
- dried hemp foliage;
- cannabis derivatives;
- salts;
- synthetic mixtures (spice).
It should be noted that if smoking is removed from the body within a day, then the use of seemingly harmless salts and synthetic mixtures can manifest itself for a long time as sudden hallucinations.
Injection drugs
One of the most powerful types of narcotic drugs is liquid injectable drugs. Pervitin, cooked from improvised substances, or acetylated opium and ephedrone purchased in finished form, if necessary, are heated on a spoon, drawn into a syringe and injected into a muscle or directly into a vein. Drug addicts begin to inject themselves at the final stage of drug addiction, when smoking and tablet sublimations are considered to have already passed the stage.
Tablets
Many addicts begin their destructive activities with drugs such as pills. A convenient way to use without the necessary improvised items as a bottle with foil for smoking marijuana or a spoon with a syringe for injection use of “screw” or “electric shir”, tablets are popular in certain circles of society. Young "clubbers", representatives of the night movement and "hangouts", like to use drugs such as "ecstasy", "speed", tramadol as a source of euphoric parish.
Manufacture, purchase and possession of drugs
A separate story has the ways of drugs coming into this world. The types and turns of narcotic drugs are indicated in the criminal code as prohibited activities punishable by imprisonment. Separate articles indicate the manufacture, purchase and possession of drugs. The use itself, as such, is not a reason for detention. The one who synthesizes the narcotic substance in the laboratory, the one who then purchases it from the laboratory assistant, and the one who subsequently keeps the ill-fated drug in his possession, are prosecuted with a rather impressive period of imprisonment.
Shipping and sales
The representatives of organized crime who are involved in the transportation and marketing of manufactured or acquired narcotic elements are also subject to punishment. It is in order to avoid the importation of prohibited substances into the territory of states at all airports, large border authorities, seaports, and there are customs inspections that stop the transport of murderous substances and subsequent detention of their owners.
Cultivation
In addition to the manufacture and marketing, the law prohibits the cultivation of narcotic substances. Growing cannabis vegetation is punishable by law in the same way as synthesizing narcotic substances in laboratory conditions, since it involves the possible sale and distribution of negative funds among healthy youth.
Addiction
Addiction is another crime committed by the lower echelons of the current mechanism called the organized crime empire of drug trafficking and distribution. Propaganda and suggestions as a sample of a harmful substance are also unacceptable and punishable by law. Sale of salts is carried out by means of recordings with markers on the chairs of subway cars, painting cylinders at stops, chalk on the pavement with an email and the mailbox of sellers of harmful smoking mixtures. This actively works as attracting young people to use drugs.
