The Palace of Water Sports in Krasnoyarsk is part of the sports complex of the Siberian State University, but accepts not only students, but also all active and athletic people. The palace is located at the address: Tsentralny proezd, 7, and is located near the bus stop "DK May 1".
Description
There are 3 swimming pools in the Water Sports Palace, each of which is designed for a specific contingent. In addition, there is a buffet, a sauna, and sports equipment rental is organized.
The main feature in the Water Sports Palace of Krasnoyarsk is a 50-meter pool. The city boasts just two of these. This is an 8-lane pool equipped to all competition standards, the depth of which varies from two to six meters. Water temperature is comfortable: not lower than 26 degrees Celsius. Here you can get a subscription with unlimited time. On weekends, the use of the sauna also becomes available.
The second pool of the Water Sports Palace in Krasnoyarsk is a small bathtub with an area of only 40 m 2 and a depth of 1 meter. Since the pool is intended for children aged 1 year to 5 years (visited with adults), the water in it is warmer and is 33 degrees. Here, children learn to swim with their parents.
The training pool serves as a kind of water class for training. There are swimming classes for children from 7 to 12 years old, as well as special courses in water aerobics for adults (a separate group for pregnant women). The pool itself is small: without paths, with an area of 64 m 2 and a depth of 0.9 to 1.2 meters. Water temperature is approximately 30 degrees Celsius. Classes in the pool are held for 40 minutes every day, except Sunday, when free swimming lasts for 1 hour.
In the main pool, classes in synchronized swimming and choreography, as well as swimming in fins for children under 14 years of age, are also open, groups for children with posture disorders are still open, and a therapeutic massage procedure is being organized. The cost of visiting the pool for children from 14 years old is from 160 rubles (minimum payment for free swimming) on weekdays.
Requirements
Of course, water procedures, and especially swimming, are very useful and have a good effect on human health. However, it is not uncommon when, due to them, the state of health only worsens. Therefore, a visit to the pool always requires certain medical opinions. This is associated with an increased risk of spread of infections in warm water with a large number of people, as well as the presence of medical contraindications for some groups of people.
Before visiting the Water Sports Palace, the child must undergo a pediatrician examination to obtain a certificate confirming that there are no contraindications to the pool, and the adult must receive the same certificate from the therapist. The absence of these certificates can be compensated for by a free visit to the medical office in the building of the complex. If the pool is visited by a child under the age of 10 years (inclusive), then he must undergo studies for enterobiosis and worm eggs.

The pool has an ambiguous reputation: sports facilities are well equipped here, there is the necessary material base, but there are problems with the staff, sanitation and the condition of the building (the pool bowls need repair and replacement of the tile, and the water and the bottom are almost not cleaned). It is also believed that the cost of visiting is too high and does not match the quality of services.
