Fruit sangria recipe with mineral water

Then you need to combine in a jug of half a glass of cognac and a bottle of semi-dry wine (since the drink is Spanish, and it is better to take Spanish wine ), pour in the squeezed lemon juice (one will be enough, remove the zest first). Add the zest and a couple of tablespoons of sugar here, mix very carefully. The available fruits (for example, one orange and an apple, or maybe a peach and a cherry) are peeled, and if necessary, finely cut the peels, add to the jug. We insist hour. You can choose dry wine, and in this case you can determine the amount of sugar by experiment, because during the summer you will prepare this refreshing drink, which can be sipped for hours, more than once. What can be added instead of water? Juice, for example, grape. It will turn out a little more fragrant and sweet sangria. The recipe offers the following proportions: for one bottle of wine, it is good to add about two glasses of juice. The drink will get a piquant taste if you add spices to it, for example, cloves.

If you are going to a summer cottage or a picnic and want to treat yourself to a glass of sangria in the "field" conditions, the basis of the drink must be prepared in advance, per day. For her, we need a pinch of zest of lemon and orange, half a glass of water, sugar in volume a little less than water. Add the zest to the water with sugar, wait for a boil over low heat, stir regularly. After boiling for a few minutes, turn off the mixture. After cooling, mix with a bottle of wine. Stand in the fridge for a day, and cool the sliced ​​and stacked fruits container separately. When serving in glasses, combine fruit and wine mixture. So you get almost classic sangria. This recipe, of course, is only suitable if it is possible to store the ingredients, for example, in a cooler bag or get ice. If you wanted to make this summer Spanish drink immediately, and only white wine was left in stock, sangria will work out anyway.

White Wine Option

For one bottle of wine (so that it is not very sweet, it is good that it is dry) we need two oranges and one lemon and one lime each. Of course, you can take two lemons. Another component is mineral water or fruit juice, grape and / or peach, for a total of two glasses. Sugar - to taste. In the basic recipe, it is proposed to take 4 tbsp. spoons. Everything is mixed, poured into a jug, an hour of exposure in the refrigerator - and the original drink with a fresh taste can be poured into glasses with ice. It does not need to be insisted longer, again because of the possible bitterness of citrus fruits.

Non-alcoholic option

If you really want to try a new drink with all the appropriate attributes (jug, ice, glasses, delicate grape flavor and fruity aroma), simply mix grape and peach juice and chopped fruits in arbitrary proportions. Non-alcoholic wine can also be used . It is already difficult to call such a “cocktail” sangria, but the pleasant coolness, new taste sensations and aesthetic pleasure are fully guaranteed.
