Eden Hazard. Biography
Eden Hazard was born on January 7, 1991 in La Louviere, but grew up in a small town called Bren-le-Conte, located on the territory of Wallonia. The father of the midfielder is Belgian, and his mother is a native of Morocco, therefore, by religion, Eden Hazard is a Muslim. Eden's father was a semi-professional footballer playing for the La Louvière club, while the mother of the future midfielder played in the forward Belgian women's division as a striker. Eden has three brothers - Torgan, Kilian and Ethan, who are also professional footballers.
The beginning of a career and the transition to Lille
Azar's professional career began in Belgium in 1995. The first club of the midfielder was Royal Stud Brainua, and in 2003 he moved to Tubiz, whose pupil he is considered to be. It was in this club that a young talent at the age of 14 managed to make himself known: scouts of the French “Lille” noticed dribbling, speed and creativity of a Belgian football player, as a result of which, in 2005, Hazard began to study at a sports school of a team from League 1. After graduating from a sports school young talent continued his studies at the Lille Academy.

Already in 2007, Hazard signed a professional contract with the French team, designed for a three-year term. The player began to play for the main squad of Lille in 2008, and his professional debut for the team took place in September this year in a duel against Sochaux. Eden scored the first goal for his French team shortly after his debut in a match against Auxerre. Already in November 2008, the midfielder signed a new three-year contract with his club on improved conditions.
Gradually improving and improving his skills, the football player became one of the most promising players in the world. Eden’s progress over the years turned out to be just meteor - for some few years he managed to become one of the team leaders from an unknown player of the double “Lille”, so it’s not at all surprising that in 2012 a real fight arose for the midfielder.
Going to Chelsea
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United - all these grandees of English football wanted Eden Hazard to join their ranks. The nationality of this player for the teams was not as important as his professional qualities. Eden either praised the attacking power of Manchester City, or hinted that he would continue his career with the Red Devils. However, neither one nor the other happened, and as a result, the talented Belgian announced at the end of May 2012 that he would go to the winners of the Champions League, and he was none other than London's Chelsea.
In early July of that year, Eden Hazard completed his transition to the location of the London team, signing a multi-year contract at Chelsea. For the transfer of the talented Belgian Chelsea had to shell out more than 30 million pounds. In “Lille”, Hazard played at number “10”, but in Chelsea he had to choose “17”, since Juan Mata was the “top ten” in the London club at that time.
As part of his new club, the talented winger made his debut in August 2012 in the English Super Bowl match, but his team suffered a disappointing defeat from Manchester City 3–2. In the domestic championship of England, the footballer made his debut in the first match, earning a penalty, which Frank Lampard realized without any problems, and giving an assist to Branislav Ivanovich. In the next round against the Newcastle Belgian scored from the penalty spot his first goal for the team.
In the first season, Chelsea Azar managed to win the Europa League and become one of the leaders of his club. In the next year’s campaign, the Belgian significantly added and became Chelsea’s top scorer in the Premier League, but this year the team failed to win a single trophy. But Hazard was recognized as the best young player in the English Premier League.
