It was written for children, but, no doubt, it will be interesting for adults as well. The tale (we give a brief summary) “Silver Hoof” tells the story of the fate of the little orphan Darenka (Daria), nicknamed Gift, her cat Murenka and the old lone hunter Kukovan. There was a six-year-old Darren without parents and got into a strange family. And there their hut is full, they are starving. Of course, they began to offend the orphan, to reproach with a piece. Yes, she also picked up a cat, the same thin and hungry, but kind and cheerful. As he begins to purr - and hear outside the door! Now a few words about Kokovan, otherwise the story and its summary will not be understood. The Silver Hoof is a fairy tale, but people like this old man are often found in real life. They are kind, compassionate, despite their age, young in soul, subtly feel the beauty of life, able to enjoy the small and open, like children. That’s why I found an approach to Darenka, and greeted her kitty. On people like Kokovan, the world rests!
Storyline
But we continue to recall the work, its summary. The “silver hoof” is therefore a fairy tale because, in addition to concrete, realistic details, it also includes elements of science fiction and magic. This topic is related to the mysterious goat, which has been hunting for many years in the snowy
winter forests of Kokovan. Not then to kill! He just heard from old people that the goat lives in the forest about five horns. And one of his hooves is not simple, but silver. And he knocks them precious gems. Only not every miracle can see this! Let’s follow the plot, its summary. Bazhov wrote “The Silver Hoof” in such a way that the reader is always in tension, with genuine interest in the mind of the writer: “What's next?” And then all three of the heroes go to the forest, where exactly the magic goat is Darenka. He gives the orphan a whole scattering of precious stones. True, Murenka is lost: most likely, she is also a difficult cat, so she returned to her fairy-tale kingdom. This is where the Silver Hoof ends. The summary of the tale can be ended with the author’s explanation of where the chrysolite deposits came from in the Urals: the goat knocked!
