Night club in Sochi "Platform" is the largest amusement institution offering a high service of European standards. This is a huge complex that combines many leisure destinations for guests and residents of the Olympic city of our country. And it is also a landmark of Sochi, thanks to its grandiose construction on the water. But the "Platform" is not quite a simple story, which we have to meet today.
Opening of "PLOTforms"
The club was first opened 10 years ago and made a huge splash in the club industry. This bright and fashionable place has become a magnet for every lover or professional of the musical rhythm of night life. Party people sought to get into it, about which legends were made. And DJs considered it a privilege to play their set in the “Platform” in Sochi, where this two-tier structure had a special privileged status.
It is worth noting that the club was originally called "PLOTform", with a reference to its unusual location. It towered above the water, and under the feet of the guests, through the glass floor, sea waves could be seen.
On the first tier there was a night club with two bars, a dance floor and an area for VIP guests. The second tier was aimed at guests coming in the daytime. Here was a restaurant ("Platforms" in Sochi in the future) with European dishes, hookah and live music, as well as sun loungers, you could enjoy cocktails and sunbathes.
Nightclub fire
In June 2012, a fire occurred in the Platform in Sochi. The focus of the fire fell on the SPA recreation area as a result of the installation of new equipment. At the time of the fire, there were personnel in the entertainment complex — 12 people, and no visitors. All employees managed to leave the institution on time and remain unharmed. Arriving firefighters fought the flame for more than an hour. It managed to cover most of the structure.
It should be noted the coordinated work of rescuers. After all, they had to face many problems before they managed to localize the flame. This also related to the difficulties of accessing the surface structure (the fire truck was not able to drive to the club as close as possible), and the supply of water to extinguish it. In less than a month, the Platform (Sochi) was restored, but the name was changed.
Cloud Platform: Revival
After a serious incident with the entertainment complex, the management of the institution decided to revive the club with a new name - "Clouds". This name has been fixed for 5 years. But since the summer of 2017, the previous name, but in a new version, has returned to the institution. Club "Platform" in Sochi again sparkled with its once legendary sound.
Today it is a large-scale complex, stylized as a cruise liner, with high-quality sound from the great masters of sound movement and excellent cuisine. The updated format of the club creates space for a concert, club, social platform and outdoor recreation area.
The concept of the "Platform" in Sochi is a constant movement that brings pleasure and enjoyment. Morning awakens here from aromatic breakfasts with sea views, giving a sunny and beachy mood.
