Labor protection at work, management and organization of work

Labor protection at work is the creation of safe work processes at the workplace personnel, which is based on three main positions:

- the priority of the health and life of the employee over the results of his work;

- fulfillment of requirements, relevant standards and documents during production;

- Encouraging staff commitment to a safety culture.

Labor protection at work includes the preparation, approval and implementation of legal, organizational, social, economic, scientific, technical, medical, sanitary and preventive measures that are aimed at preserving the life of the employee, his health and ability to work.

Management and organization of labor protection

Occupational health and safety management at the enterprise is an integral part of the enterprise management system, which contributes to the prevention of accidents (occupational diseases) and consists of a set of interrelated measures aimed at fulfilling the requirements of laws in the field of ensuring the health and life of workers.

The main goal of the management is to create the necessary conditions for the formation of a conscious attitude towards safety among employees, improve existing and introduce new mechanisms in the management of labor protection.

The interaction between the officials who take part in the management is defined in the job descriptions, on the basis of normative documents, a directory of qualification characteristics with the exception of duplication of functions, unambiguous subordination, a clear definition of duties and responsibilities, as well as with delegation of authority.

Labor protection at work, its tasks and functions

The development and implementation of measures for the implementation of labor protection at the enterprise should be aimed at ensuring:

- safe, healthy and appropriate working conditions;

- maintenance in an appropriate safe condition of production equipment, structures, engineering networks and buildings;

- conducting safe technological processes;

- personnel protective equipment;

- the organization of training for each employee in safe methods of process control;

- propaganda of labor protection;

- accounting, analysis and assessment of conditions of activity;

- compulsory insurance of personnel;

- optimal modes of work and rest;

- sanitary and domestic services;

- organization of medical and preventive maintenance of personnel.

Organization of labor protection

This process includes accounting, control, assessment and analysis of labor protection at all stages of production.

At each enterprise, activities and activities in the field of improving labor protection and improving the state of safety and the working environment should be planned and financed.

An important role is also played by the organization of providing training centers with modern teaching aids, training programs and high-quality professional training and retraining of employees.

Occupational safety and liability for its violations

For violation of labor protection laws, the formation of barriers to the activities of officials and trade union representatives, guilty workers are held accountable in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibility for each accident and occupational disease that occurred in the workplace is borne by officials who have not ensured compliance with the rules of industrial sanitation and have not taken appropriate measures to prevent cases of occupational poisoning and accidents, as well as persons who have directly violated the rules.
