Ksenia Aleksandrovna Abulkhanova-Slavskaya - a person known to the world as a doctor of philosophical sciences, candidate of psychological sciences, professor. Today, she is a full member of the Academician of the Russian Authors Society, as well as the main researcher in the laboratory of personality psychology at the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also works as a professor in the Department of Personality Psychology, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, National Research University Higher School of Economics. She is a member of the International Academy of Psychological Sciences, as well as the European Association of Personality Psychology.
Professional way
Ksenia Alexandrovna's scientific career began in 1956, when the future professor graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov. The department where Abulkhanova-Slavskaya studied is psychology. From 1956 to 1974, Ksenia Alexandrovna worked at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and devoted herself to the sector of philosophical problems. Teaching
The path as a teacher at Ksenia Alexandrovna began in 1982. Since then, she taught not only at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin, but also at the Russian State Humanitarian University, and even at his native faculty of psychology, Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov. In 2002, the Psychology Department of the National Research University Higher School of Economics added to this not-so-small list.
In addition to her great teaching experience, Ksenia Alexandrovna devoted a huge period of time, from 1987 to 2012, to work as the head of the laboratory of methodology, theory, and history of psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The start of the research activity of Ksenia Alexandrovna was under the strict guidance of Sergei Leonidovich Rubinstein. Due to the fact that Abulkhanova-Slavskaya was a student of a famous psychologist, she intensively developed his theory of activity in her future works. By the seventies, she was becoming one of the leaders in the study of the methodology of Russian psychology.
The first significant work can be considered a monograph "On the subject of mental activity", written by Ksenia Alexandrovna in 1973, just during the transition from the institute of philosophy to the institute of psychology. She considered the same problem in her doctoral dissertation. What distinguishes the work is the applied principle of the subject to the definition of the subject of psychology. Also, Abulkhanova-Slavskaya substantiated the approach to a person as a subject of mental activity. Psychology research K.A. Abulkhanova-Slavskaya was based on the typological developments of Dmitry Nikolaevich Uznadze and Boris Mikhailovich Teplov, as well as many other well-known psychologists.
