The game in Spartak

Nikita’s business at the Moscow club didn’t go as well as at Saturn. In the first 1.5 seasons, having spent 24 games, he scored only three goals. The leading striker of Spartak Roman Pavlyuchenko was injured at that time, and head coach Vladimir Fedotov released Bazhenov at the very beginning of the game. Nikita lived up to the trust of management and took his chance. He scored a beautiful goal against the “army team”, overtaking Alexei Berezutsky and coming face to face with CSKA goalkeeper.
