Large enterprises of Moscow. Industrial enterprises and companies

The capital of Russia is the country's most powerful research and production center. Among the large enterprises of Moscow , companies of the defense sector, the electrical, chemical and nuclear industries, mechanical engineering, and metallurgy stand out. It creates space and aircraft, advanced medical devices and electronic components, smelts metal, manufactures vehicles, machine tools, equipment, and military equipment.

Moscow endocrine plant

FGUIP Moscow Endocrine Plant

The company was established in 1943 to produce medicines based on blood serum. After the war, the nomenclature of the plant expanded. In 1964, after the launch of the new building, the production of such indispensable preparations as adrenaline, intermedin, lizada, mycoin and others began.

Today, the Moscow endocrine plant employs about 700 people. The production is equipped with modern equipment. It consists of 4 sections, where currently produce:

  • antibacterial drugs;
  • β1-blockers;

OJSC Moscow Tire Plant

Tire factory

The history of Moscow Tire Plant OJSC begins in the late 30s, when the government made a strategic decision to organize the most modern automobile tire production at that time. Since there were no own developments in this area, in 1940 a working group was sent to the USA to study the technical process of advanced American enterprises.

It seemed that with the outbreak of war the country would not have time to build a tire factory. However, government attention to this topic has not diminished. During the years 1942-1944, construction of production facilities was carried out, and in 1945 new equipment from the United States arrived at the site. The birthday of the Taganka MRZ is considered the date of November 5, 1945.

A large enterprise in Moscow has mastered a wide range of tires for various types of vehicles. In total, there are over 70 models with sizes from 12 inches to 20. In recent years, a number of measures have been taken aimed at modernizing production facilities and optimizing the control system. The plant is a domestic leader in terms of the development and implementation of innovations in tire production. Here, they were one of the first to organize the production of low-profile single-layer tires with a high-speed mode of up to 240 km / h, learned how to use metal and textile cords of new brands, innovative types of rubbers, and experimented with chemical additives. High quality is confirmed not only by various certificates of conformity, but also by innumerable awards and bonuses.

ZAO Moscow Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments

The flagship of the electrical industry

CJSC Moscow Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments is one of the largest enterprises in the electronic industry of Russia. Its products are found everywhere and are famous for the highest quality. And the history of the flagship of the industry began with the workshop "Precision Mechanics", opened in 1935. Initially, arithmometers and typewriters were repaired here, and during the Great Patriotic War they organized the production of various components for military equipment.

In 1953, the enterprise was transformed into the MZ "Electric meter". The name of the name contains the production profile. With the beginning of the massive construction of housing and commercial and industrial facilities, the need arose to take into account the consumed electricity. The task of providing the industry with electrical measuring instruments was assigned to the factory workers.

Today, perhaps, the best electric meters in the country are produced here. Of course, production is not limited to them. Its basis is composed of:

  • ASKUE systems that automate the control and accounting of electricity.
  • Thin light panels.

The highlight of the plant is the latest integrated ICM-3000 systems that allow you to control not only the energy consumption, but also heat, water and gas supply.

Plant "Mayak"

The machine-building enterprise specializes in the design and manufacture of avionics for civil and military aircraft: airplanes, “drones” and helicopters. In the Soviet years, it was an important strategic facility that produced components for aircraft equipment of the MiG, Su, An, Il, Il, Tu, Yak, Be, Be, L, Mi models, "TO".

The current state of the Mayak plant raises certain concerns. It is difficult for a company with worn-out equipment to compete with modern production facilities. However, the units for starting engines manufactured here are still in demand in the market.

MZ "Mayak" produces:

  • converters, generators;
  • control units;
  • circuit breakers;
  • electromagnets, regulators, contactors;
  • relay;
  • transformers;
  • power supply systems;
  • remotes;
  • electric motors.

In addition to core products, factory workers produce tools for housing and communal services, consumer goods, metal structures (fences, gates, gates), containers, etc.

OJSC Moscow Oil and Butter Plant

Moscow Refinery

A unique enterprise was founded in 1925. At first, the main products were ozokerite (the so-called mountain wax) of various brands. Products based on it were used in the defense, chemical industry, medicine, and cosmetology. Gradually, the plant's focus shifted to the production of special oils, special lubricants, special liquids, wax alloys for high-tech complex units, mechanisms, and apparatuses. For the first time in the USSR, a workshop for the production of ultrapure lubricants was launched here.

Today, Moscow Oil and Oil Plant OJSC remains the only enterprise in the country that produces the most important group of special lubricants for spacecraft and working fluids for supersonic aviation. Moreover, certain types of this unique product were supplied in batches of only a few kilograms per year. Their value was literally determined by its weight in gold. All this confirms the unique role of the Moscow NMZ, which he played in his industry over the past decades.

large enterprises of Moscow

Renault Russia JSC

It seemed that after the closure of the mechanical engineering giant AZLK, cars in the capital would no longer be produced. However, in 1998, a large-scale project to build a large enterprise in Moscow, Renault Russia, was launched, in which assembly of modern cars of the famous French brand began in 2005. On January 28, 2015, the millionth car rolled off its assembly line. Today, the current lineup includes Renault Duster, Kaptur, Latitude, as well as Nissan Terrano.

MMZ "Hammer and Sickle"

One of the largest enterprises in Moscow and Russia, related to the metallurgical industry, was engaged in the smelting of a wide range of steels and cast iron. It was founded in 1883 by an international consortium led by the Frenchman Julius Goujon. By 1913, the plant had 7 open-hearth furnaces with a capacity of about 90,000 tons of steel annually.

In the 30s, after many years of desolation, a large-scale reorganization and reconstruction was carried out, due to which the most modern equipment was delivered to the production. Subsequent years, Hammer and Sickle remained the flagship of metallurgy. Promising technologies were rolled in here , subsequently introduced throughout the alliance. Today, according to the plan for the liquidation of large enterprises in the capital and their removal beyond the MKAD, the MMZ's work has been stopped. At the industrial site, it is planned to erect a residential complex, social facilities.
