The Italian national football team is approaching the moment when it will be necessary to make a generation change - most of the leaders of the once great team either no longer take part in international football, or they are already over thirty. However, it cannot be said that in Italy there are a lot of really worthy talents.
Domenico Berardi is a rare pearl, which in the near future, it is likely to sparkle with all its might. This universal winger, who can play both on the right and on the left side of the attack, is a pupil of the Italian club Sassuolo. In 2012, when the young talent was eighteen years old, a professional contract was signed with him, but in 2013 the largest club in Italy, Juventus of Turin, intervened in the fate of the player. He acquired a 19-year-old winger for four and a half million euros, but immediately leased it for two years back to Sassuolo so that he could gain playing practice. However, as in 2013, in 2015, young talent did not find a place at the base of the Turin club, so Sassuolo took advantage of the agreement and bought the rights to the player from Juventus for ten million euros - this was a serious blow to the budget of a small team, but it was worth it. But the new contract spells out the right of primary redemption, which remains with Juventus. This means that the Turin club in the summer of 2016 will be able to return the winger for 25 million euros - naturally, if he himself wants to. In the coming months, this will become clear, but for now it’s worth considering how Domenico Berardi’s career developed in his current club.
First season
Domenico Berardi didn’t get to Sassuolo right away - he entered the academy of this club at the age of 16 and played for the youth team for two years until he was eighteen, as mentioned earlier. It was then that he was offered an official professional contract. The most amazing thing is that the winger immediately got a place in the first team and literally instantly became one of the key players in the team. Then, “Sassuolo” still played in Serie B, that is, in the second most important league in Italy, so he had more opportunities to adapt and gain experience. Domenico Berardi played in 37 of 42 possible matches, two of which he missed due to damage, and one due to disqualification. During the season, he scored 11 goals and gave six assists, which greatly helped his club achieve access to the big leagues.
Second season
Many believed that Berardi Domenico, along with “Sassuolo” did not last long in Serie A, but everything turned out completely different. The winger missed the first four matches of his team in the Premier League due to the fact that in the last match of the last season he received a red card and was serving a corresponding disqualification. However, after that he quickly entered the game and immediately began to help his partners achieve unexpected success. The player attracted a lot of attention, since in the debut season in 29 matches he managed to score as many as 16 goals, and in addition to this, give six assists. Why are there so few matches? The fact is that violent young Italian blood is one of the main disadvantages of young talent. He managed to get another red card, because of which he missed three games, and two matches were absent due to the exhaustion of yellow cards. However, this does not negate the fact that Berardi Domenico is by far one of the most talented players of the attacking line, not only in Italy, but throughout the world.
Third season
Berardi Domenico, whose biography is already attracting the attention of many football fans, continued his triumphal march in 2014. Another successful season brought the Italian 32 appearances on the field in Serie A and two exits in the Italian Cup. In the championship, he continued to show consistently high results, scoring 15 goals and giving 11 assists. In the Cup, he also showed himself from a very good side - in those two matches he gave two assists. However, again the problem of ardor and rudeness remained with him - already in the second round, Domenico Berardi, a creative midfielder, received a red card, which was accompanied by a three-match disqualification, and during the season he managed to go through three yellow cards and get one-match disqualifications.
Fourth season
The winger spent the last season for “Sassuolo” at the same consistently high level, but began to pay more attention to the team, rather than trying to solve everything independently or make an assist at all costs. As a result, for 29 matches he scored seven goals and gave six assists, but his efforts were much more important than before - Sassuolo managed to finish the race in sixth place, which guaranteed the club a place in the Europa League - for the first time in history . As for Berardi’s rudeness, so far she has not gone anywhere. Even in his last season, he could not do without a red card and a three-match disqualification, as well as twice sorted through yellow cards and ended up on one match outside the game. It is entirely possible that this is still youth, and in the future the winger will act smarter, calmer and more judicious.
