Recently, the Russian boxing world is clearly experiencing a period of recovery. This is explained by the fact that more and more “stars” are lit in the sky of boxing. Of course, not all of these athletes are known outside their homeland, but there are also such fighters who managed to express themselves loudly enough. One of the brightest representatives of the Russian Federation in the world of martial arts is Allahverdiyev Habib.
Dagestan hawk
On December 8, 1982, Allahverdiyev Habib issued his first cry. His birthplace is the city of Kaspiysk, located in Dagestan. Unfortunately, the future champion as a child grew up without a father and therefore clearly realized that in this life he can only hope for himself. The nationality of the athlete is Lezgin.
Amateur Ring Achievements
The first trainer of the fighter was Kurban Kurbanov. It was under his leadership that Allahverdiyev Habib honed his boxing skills and performed quite successfully in amateurs. Since the year 2000, the young boxer begins to box, conducting his training at the Olympic Reserve School, where his mentor was Zuber Jafarov, Honored Trainer of Russia.
In total, Allahverdiyev Khabib stayed in amateurs until 2007.

Khabib Allahverdiyev in his interviews has repeatedly stated that at one time he lost all hope of speaking at the Olympic Games. And therefore, in 2007, he decides to switch to professionals.

Habib Allahverdiyev passes his first career “steps” in the United States of America. As a native of the Caucasus admitted, he went to America to box in order to earn money for a decent life for his family.
But as they say, fate cannot be avoided. The turning point in the career of the Dagestan takes place in May 2010, when he holds a twelve-round fight against his compatriot Karen Tevosyan on Red Square in the Russian capital and wins his points, thereby winning the title of the best WBC Asian Boxing Council. By the way, Khabib himself did not know that he was facing just such a format of the battle and was not fully functionally ready for it. However, even the lack of a full physical form did not prevent him from achieving the desired result.
Another fairly high award was in the hands of Allahverdiyev in early 2012. He took possession of the WBA Fedelatin belt, defeating the Colombian Ignacio Mendoza.
The already more serious title - the best fighter according to IBO - Khabib Allahverdiyev, whose biography will be saturated with victories and defeats, wins in the summer of 2012 by knocking out his opponent from South Africa in the 4th round. At that time, the legendary Kostya Tszyu was the Lezgin trainer .
November 2012 was marked by another triumph. Habib, having emerged victorious from the fight with Joan Guzman, took possession of the WBA title.
In July 2013, Khabib Allahverdiyev, whose photo is often flashed in both domestic and foreign publications, enters the ring against the former champion in two categories of the Frenchman Suleiman M'baye. The fight lasted until the 11th round. The result of the battle was a technical knockout of the applicant - the judge stopped the fight after a long attack by Habib, to which the Frenchman did not respond. As a result, the IBO and WBA titles remained with the Russian.
Failures in the ring
April 2014 Fight with American Jesse Vargas. The result of the match is Habib’s loss on points. Although it should be noted that an unofficial judge and a sports channel observer gave the victory to Allahverdiyev with a score of 115: 113.
The second defeat in his career Habib inflicted Adrien Broner, having selected the WBA title in weight up to 63.5 kilograms. In the course of the battle, the American was building up his advantage, which quite logically grew into the early completion of the fight. After the battle, which took place in the hometown of Broner, the face of Allahverdiyev resembled a continuous abrasion and hematoma - a huge number of missed blows affected.
According to the manager of the Russian fighter, despite the defeat, Habib does not plan to end his career and wants to continue to perform in the ring.
