The Dolphin pool in the city of Taganrog is one of the few complexes where pupils of sports schools can engage in training and participants in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as ordinary residents and guests of the city.

In the Dolphin pool (Taganrog), synchronized swimming disciplines are taught, water aerobics training, deep diving training and master classes for those who want to learn how to swim are taught. The pool has six paths, its depth is 180 and 120 m, and its length is 25 m. There is a massage waterfall, convenient slopes and all the necessary conditions for those who wish to play sports. In the sports indoor pool, the temperature is 24-29 degrees and systematic sampling and epidemiological studies are carried out. The pool cleaning system takes place through filtration, ultraviolet radiation and circulation. And also a reagent called Emovex is added to the water in doses, which ensures complete disinfection of the water and protects against bacterial contamination.

The Dolphin outdoor pool, which had opened its doors for training back in 1985, was in such a deplorable state before reconstruction that they wanted to demolish it. Now it meets all modern standards, regional open championships and competitions are held here.
The pool has eight lanes and the water temperature is 29–39 degrees. It is very popular with ordinary visitors. The temperature of the water in the open is slightly warmer than usual, which allows you to swim in the open air even in winter, and due to the fact that fog rises from the water, and the temperature above the water becomes more than on the street. The open-air pool is quite deep (2.4 m), and therefore it is not recommended to visit it with children.
What to bring
In the sports and recreation complex of the Dolphin pools (Taganrog), informative billboards and price lists are hung, there is a comfortable dressing room, gym, showers with hairdryers, and a massage room.
You should take with you:
- replaceable rubberized shoes;
- accessories for swimming (washcloth, soap products);
- towel.
For access through the turnstile, a chip key from the dressing box is allocated to customers. Before classes, you must visit the shower room and change into a swimming suit.
