The future footballer was born in the Dutch city of Rotterdam on November 11, 1990. From early childhood, Giorginho Veinaldum was interested in acrobatics and gymnastics. The boy did not pay attention to football, unlike his comrades. However, at the age of 7, he accidentally turned up for viewing at the Sparta club, where his nephew invited him. According to the selection results, it was Giorgino Veynaldum who was included in the team’s academy.
Young talent quickly enough turned into one of the leaders of the youth team of Sparta. Gradually, more eminent clubs of the country began to show genuine interest in him. At first, the young football player refused to part with his beloved team. However, the management of the Feyenoord club still persuaded a talented midfielder to think about the transition. The midfielder was in the new team at the age of 14.
It took the player only 2 years to get into the core of Feyenoord. In April 2007, he made his debut for the main team. Thus, Giorgino Veynaldum became the youngest player in the history of the club, who ever went on the field in the Dutch championship. Over the course of five seasons, the midfielder played 134 matches, in which he scored 25 goals in all tournaments.
Transfer to PSV
In 2011, Giorgino Veynaldum received an offer to sign a contract from another leader of the Dutch championship - PSV Eindhoven club. The midfielder moved here for an amount of 5 million euros. The young football player made his debut in the first team almost immediately.
In the 2013/2014 season, Giorgino Veynaldum acquired the status of the leader of the team. The player was awarded the rank of team captain. Performances for Newcastle

Giorginho made his debut ball for the new club in the game against Southampton, which took place on August 9, 2015 as part of the country's national championship. In October, the midfielder registered his first poker in his sports career, scoring 4 goals in a duel against the Norwich City club.
In total, during the first season at Newcastle, the player took part in 38 matches, signing the rivals' goal 11 times. However, such a high performance, as for the midfielder, did not allow the club to keep a residence permit in the top division. After the forced departure of the team to the Championship, the Weinaldum had to think about finding other options for pursuing a career.
Going to Liverpool
In the summer off-season of 2016, reports in the English press about the possible transfer of Weinaldum to Liverpool were increasingly appearing in the English press. At the start of the new championship, the midfielder arrived at the location of the new team. The total amount of the agreement, according to official information, amounted to 23 million pounds.
