Where did the name "Spaten" come from
The word "spar" in translation from German means "spade." This name was assigned to the brewery in those years when it was controlled by the Shpat family (1622-1704), and to this day has remained relevant. In 1807, Spaten was the smallest brewery in Munich, and after sixty years it became the largest, and this title remained with it for about another 30 years. During these years, work was underway on the first refrigeration unit. Spaten is the pioneer of low-fermented beer and guides for other companies using this technology, and the Pilsen type of beer was first produced here. In 1992, the brewery stepped over one million hectoliters of production.

Such a product, having passed pasteurization, can be stored for about a year.

Spaten beer has four varieties, so to speak. These are Spaten Pilsener, Spaten Hell, Spaten Oktoberfest and Spaten Optimator.
The last beer, Shpaten Optimizer, is notable for its relatively high strength - almost eight revolutions, or rather 7.7%. This is not the best option for hot weather or for spending time in the bath, but you can also use it for warming in cloudy "non-flying" weather.
