David Yanchik: career and photo

David Yanchik is a football player who is familiar to Russian fans in his appearances for CSKA. To date, the 30-year-old player has no contractual obligations with any other club. David Yanchik acts as the center forward.

Carier start

David Yanczyk was born on September 23, 1987 in the city of Nowy Sacz in Poland, where he joined the youth academy of the local club called "Sandetsya". This happened quite early, when he was only six years old, and from that moment he was actively involved in football, gradually progressed, played for the youth teams of the club of various age categories, until in 2004 he entered into a professional contract with the club, which raised him. It was then that David began his journey into the world of professional football.

Performances for the native club

David Yanchik did not have time to play a lot for the club in which he grew up. In the 2004/05 season, he entered the field 22 times and was marked by two goals scored. This was not particularly impressive statistically, but in reality a great talent was visible in the young striker. It was also examined by scouts of the strongest Polish club Lehi, who attended the Sandeczya matches, on which Janczyk entered the field.

As a result, negotiations were held in the summer of 2015. As a result, for twenty thousand euros, David Yanchik, whose photo has already begun to appear in local sports publications, moved to the "Legia". It was a very important step in the development of a young football player.

Going to the Legia

As a football player, David Yanchik was incredibly promising, he had an excellent scoring flair, a well-placed strike, high accuracy, and an excellent understanding of team play. Therefore, it was not surprising that in β€œLehi” he quickly began to break into the starting line-up, despite the complete lack of experience in playing at a high level, as well as his extremely young age.

In his first season for the new club, he scored seven goals in 24 matches, most often leaving the bench. It was then that he won his first trophy, winning the Polish Championship with Legia. The next season was not so successful in the team plan, but Yanchik himself began to appear on the field much more often, having played 34 matches and scoring 7 goals. As a result, in 2007, Moscow CSKA became interested in 20-year-old young talent, who acquired it for more than four million euros.

Moving to Russia and permanent leases

In the 2007 season, CSKA David Yanchik played ten matches, scoring just one goal. The next season also began far from the best way, since he appeared on the field for six months only seven times, without noting a single goal.

Naturally, this did not suit either CSKA or the youngest talent who wanted to receive game practice. Therefore, in the summer of 2008, he was sent on loan to the Belgian Lokeren for a year and a half.

During this time, he played there in 32 matches and scored 14 goals, making a good impression. However, there was still no place for David in CSKA, so he was again deported to Belgium, this time for a year at Germinal, where he played in 17 matches and scored four goals. The player’s performance was not bad, but not as impressive as the leadership of CSKA would like. Therefore, an attempt was made to reanimate the player by sending him a rental to his native country.

As a result, he spent six months in the Korona club, for which he played only seven matches without scoring a single goal, and then spent another six months in Ukraine, playing for Alexandria. There he entered the field in general only four times and again could not distinguish himself with any goal scored.

When Yanchik returned to CSKA in 2012, he was already 25 years old, and he did not make much progress. Moreover, references to alcohol began to appear in the press. David Yanchik was an incredible talent, but there was a great chance that he lost it because of his addiction to hard liquors. Simply put, Yanchik suffered from alcoholism, although he himself denied it.

As for the sports side of the issue, Yanchik did not want to return to Moscow, so he began searching for a new club, conducted trial training in Ireland and Greece, but could not stay anywhere. He did not appear at CSKA training, so the club stopped paying his salary. However, Yanchik was bound by a contract with the Russian team until the beginning of 2014, only after that he transferred to the status of a free agent. It was then that it became known that David prematurely ends his football career.

Renewal of career at Piast

However, in reality, the football player simply could not find a place where he could continue his career. Only in the summer of 2014, after a desperate search, he was able to sign a short-term agreement with the Piast club, in which he spent almost a whole year, but at the same time appeared on the field only five times, scoring two goals. However, in April 2015, he himself asked to terminate the contract with him, after which he again disappeared from the football radar for a long time.

Return to home club

It was only in the winter of 2016 that it became known that Yanchik signed a contract with the club where he grew up and began his professional career, namely, Sandetsya. The contract was designed for one season, as well as for the piece of the season that remained in 2016. As a result, during this time he spent only nine matches, scoring two goals in them.

In the summer of 2017, his contract with the club ended and was not renewed, and today the 30-year-old striker is in the status of a free agent. Unfortunately, a career of great talent has developed far from what many would like, but first of all to him, but Russian fans will always remember his goal for Spartak. David Yanczyk lost the fight to alcoholism and could not become a real hero of Polish sport.

Team game

Well, the last thing worth mentioning is the games of Janczyk for the Polish national team. As you could already understand, high hopes were pinned on him, which he could not justify. Back in 2005, even before becoming a player in Legia, Janczyk made his debut in the Polish youth team under the age of 18 years. He played in nine matches, scoring seven goals in them. Then he was called up to the national team, consisting of players under 19 years old, where he scored ten goals in eight games. He then became the main star of the U-19 European Championship for his team, because he brightened up the failed performance with a hat-trick in the match with the Belgian national team. Of the four goals that the Poles scored in those three matches, Yanchik scored three.

Later, at the age of 20, he also played for the national team, playing at the corresponding World Cup in 2007. There, in four matches, he scored three goals, with one of them against the Argentine national team in the 1/8 finals of the tournament. In total, he played 9 matches for this team, scoring five goals.

In the national team until the age of 21, he was no longer able to show his best side, because in all five matches of the qualification for the European Championship, he could not score a single goal, as in two other friendlies.

As for the appearances for the main team, then he made his debut in 2008 in a friendly match against the national team of Serbia. Then he spent two more, and also twice replaced in the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup, but he could not score a single goal in any of these games and after 2009 he was not called up to the national team even once.
