production program is an enterprise work plan for one year, broken down by quarters, which indicates the quantity of products to be produced and the financial costs of production.

Naturally, you won’t be able to do this amount of work “in a snap” in a couple of days. Therefore, planning a production program begins long before the end of the current period.
