Socionics: LSE. Logical-sensory extrovert - Stirlitz. Socionics: personality types

Stirlitz is the name of a personality type, adopted in socionics. The creator of science, the Lithuanian Aushra Augustinavichiute, giving the name to the sociotype, was inspired by the character of Isaev (Stirlitz in the film “17 Moments of Spring”). A person of this type is a logician, sensory and extrovert. In abbreviated form - FEL. However, it should be noted that the names of the characteristics of sociotypes do not mean the same thing in life. In the article we will consider the distinctive features of FEL, socionics, and more precisely, its main provisions.

Fundamentals of Socionics

There are four opposing pairs of characteristics: extra- and introversion, logic and ethics, sensory and intuition, rationality and irrationality.

Many people think that an extrovert is a chatterbox, and an introvert is a notorious silent man.

extrovert and introvert

In fact, the characteristic shows in which world (external or internal) a person prefers to be, where he is more comfortable. An introvert can be very sociable, but he regains his strength alone. An extrovert, on the contrary, draws energy in the outside world, all its attention is directed to other people, objects. Most of all he is interested in how he affects the world around him. The introvert is mainly interested in what effect the environment has on him.

Logicians make decisions, guided by a rational approach, through analysis. According to socionics, FEL is just that. Ethics rely on their feelings, personal attitude. For them, the main role is played by ethical standards and their own sense of correctness.

Sensors and intuitions, wanting to make an impression of something, collect different types of information. The former are guided by what is here and now, that is, by sensations from their five senses. Intuitions pay attention to subtexts, hidden possibilities, meanings, believe in insights, the sixth sense.

Rationality means that a person loves planning, predictability. This is a high level of self-organization of personality. Irrationality is adherence to impulses, changeability, freedom from a strict routine.

Type Defining Functions

The psychotype has four functions: leading, auxiliary, weak and slave. In socionics, a test for determining the type allows you to find out which of the characteristics of a person includes logic, ethics, intuition, sensorics, etc. The name of a type is given in accordance with two main functions: leading and auxiliary. The first shows the sphere that is most interesting to a person. Often it becomes a profession, because in this area you can easily feel confident.

The auxiliary function is slightly weaker; it shows how a person realizes the main thing. The sensory logician will, for example, organize production, and the intuitive one will conduct sociological research.

The third function is weakness, through this channel a person is very vulnerable. He feels a lack, doubts, may even have complexes. She perceives any pressure and reproaches with hostility, therefore the function is also called pain.

The fourth channel is the slave. Here, a person accepts help, indicating errors. A function is also called suggestive, because through it you can easily influence, inspire something. There are 16 types of personality in socionics (this is the maximum number of possible combinations of characteristics).

Stirlitz traits

FEL is very good in business and is confident in its competence. Able among the many ways to choose the most effective and least energy-consuming. What is significant for him does brilliantly, does not accept imperfection, therefore he is not afraid to redo it. This is a persistent and hardworking person. He loves when everything is in its place, it maintains impeccable cleanliness, but at the same time it can easily find lost in a pile of things. Adheres to the principle of reasonable economy and teaches others this. All these are manifestations of a strong function - logic.

From work to appearance - a love of beauty is visible in everything, but excessive decoration is not characteristic of this type. Despite the fact that he is incredulous, he takes care of loved ones, having a practical approach to everything, trying to make their life easier. So the auxiliary function (sensory) is manifested.

Stirlitz is not afraid, he is confident in his strength, but uses it only if he needs to protect a loved one. He treats others with respect, behaves correctly, does not allow frivolities, he is an outgoing merry fellow with friends. It is strict in relation to native people, but especially to oneself. It has a Nordic character. This means that he is trying to be restrained, keep calm. Emotions get the better of reason from time to time. In such cases, the FEL behaves abruptly, gets excited, and all because the ethics of emotions is poorly developed.

If you’re busy with something, you’re completely immersed in the “here and now”, therefore, you don’t feel the passage of time, you can be late, fail to complete the work on time (the intuition of time is not his thing). She is aware of such a peculiarity, because of a high sense of duty she is worried and hates when he is rushed or precious time is taken.

He understands and accepts if he is not very well treated at work, but expects deep love and constant confirmation from his half. He is often mistaken in evaluating people, does not understand the intricacies of their behavior, emotions, and therefore does wrong in relation to them (his ethics of relations needs support). He considers an ideal society to be dominated by good, love, and beauty.

FEL behavior in stressful situations

Emotion control

Stirlitz is convinced that if you do not follow the rules, do not draw conclusions from past mistakes, everything will go to waste. Like all sensory rationals, it strives for a fair society. He believes that the right to live in it must be earned, this can be done if you are honest and do everything that depends on you. FEL is very afraid that they will not accept him, they will not recognize him, they will reject him, and this gives him great concern. Stirlitz is worried that he might blunder, lose the trust of other people. The state of stress in which he finds himself because of this fear pushes to strengthen control. A person of this sociotype is eager to correct everything that is imperfect, everything that is not in order, so he is angry with those whom he considers irresponsible. In such cases, it seems to others that their opinion is not taken into account, that Stirlitz’s conclusions are hasty and erroneous. If the stressful situation is prolonged, a representative of this type feels exhausted, tired, and may even become ill. In such a helpless state, FEL complains that he is uninteresting, underestimated, panic at the thought that he will be abandoned. Stirlitz can pester loved ones with complaints, nit-picking, or over-custody. As a result, his displeasure is the resistance of others.

The subtleties of interaction

If the methodology for determining the identity revealed that you or your friend LSE, then read the recommendations for effective communication.

In order to achieve mutual understanding, it is customary for diplomats not to get down to business immediately, but to make an introduction. It allows you to tune in to the wave of the interlocutor and orient him about the upcoming conversation. Different sociotypes should do this in their own way.

If you are Stirlitz, then create an atmosphere of impartiality, determine at what psychological distance the conversation will take place - “you” or “you”. Show willingness to evaluate the arguments against the cold head.

You have a Nordic character. What does this mean for the interlocutor? The fact that you cannot always support a person morally, because your ethical function and intuition are poorly developed. LSE needs to be shown that he deeply understands the situation, its non-obvious reasons, to demonstrate the hidden side of the problem. It will be useful to convey your confidence to the interlocutor and make it clear that you will inform if the situation changes.

Conversation of the boss with the subordinate

In making decisions, Stirlitz can be very successful and useful to other people. It is worth listening when he says how to act, explains tactics, consistency; calls one of the specialists qualified; shows a more effective way; tells the chronology of events, gives facts.

If you have to deal with a problem, then FEL is the best able to defend the interests of the team, to protect a loved one. He is able to quickly restore order, create coziness, cleanliness, feed, organize a holiday and make everyone comfortable.

If you are guilty before Stirlitz, then he will understand and will not be offended if you tell him: “I didn’t feel well”, “I didn’t understand the essence, I couldn’t figure it out”, “This goes against my interests.”

Best of all, FEL perceives praise regarding his skills and some tangible things. You can, for example, praise his golden hands and the repairs that he made on his own, admire the comfort in the apartment, the delicious treats.

If you need to make a remark to Stirlitz, you should not say: “You didn’t arrive on time”, “I don’t have time for this”, “All because of your rush!” The wording is suitable: "It will be more ethical to do so ...", "It seems to me that your words could offend him."

What qualities should work suitable for FEL

In socionics, a test for determining the type can also be useful in that it will guide you in choosing an activity that suits you. Stirlitz will be comfortable if work:

  • makes it possible to apply logic to achieve clearly defined goals;
  • allows you to independently determine tactics, set tasks for employees, gives enough time and money;
  • gives priority to his opinion, experience, makes it possible for FEL to make decisions and be responsible for them, to control implementation;
  • connected with real, tangible things, its results can be measured;
  • evaluated fairly, with clear criteria;
  • involves cooperation with responsible, rooting for the result of the people, takes place in an atmosphere of mutual respect;
  • makes it possible to predict the result, to build everything in the form of a structure.

Stirlitz's advantages in work

Logical-sensory extrovert (FEL) will be successful in a career due to qualities such as:

  • Focus on results, company goals, practicality.
  • Accuracy in work, the pursuit of high quality, the ability to bring things to the end.
  • Commitment, responsibility, ability to be tough, if necessary.
  • The ability to notice a violation of logic, inappropriate, inefficient use of resources.
    Logic driven man
  • The ability to make objective decisions, not dictated by emotions, organizational abilities.
  • A realistic view of the future.
  • Compliance with the standards of professional ethics, the ability to collaborate, to work in a hierarchy.

Disadvantages of FEL in work

The disadvantages of a socionic type of Stirlitz career can be prevented by:

  • High demands on others.
    Stirlitz is intolerant
  • Intolerance to carelessness and disorder on the part of employees.
  • Tendency to irritability if the process is delayed or the work is ineffective.
  • Fear of trying new things, reluctance to change something in oneself.
  • Inability to hear the arguments of the other side.
  • Short-sightedness, excessive focus on the present, lack of strategic thinking.
  • Insensitivity to how decisions made affect others.

Stirlitz as a leader

Stirlitz in a leadership position

In schools, socionics of LSE are called differently (Administrator, Organizer, because representatives of this type very often choose managerial work). Consider the behavior of the Stirlitz leader.

As an administrator, he is more successful in solving tactical rather than strategic tasks. Prefers to be a leader in a system with a strict hierarchy. Contact with subordinates is established, relying not on personal vision, but on objective factors. However, at work, Stirlitz strive to make sure that his subordinates do not interfere with the performance of their duties. A manager of this type interacts with employees with the determination and confidence inherent in him - through clear directions and monitoring of their implementation. He knows how to cooperate, but inside there is a sense of competition. FEL appreciates subordinates primarily for the results of work, and not for their human qualities. It may not pay attention to ethical standards, because it manages, guided by established rules, the appropriateness of a particular action. Stirlitz is focused on how a firm can make more profit without breaking the law. It often happens that, despite a good goal (company well-being), employees remain offended because a representative of this type does not think about how his decisions affect the feelings of others.

What professions are suitable, according to socionics, FEL

Strengths of this sociotype: business ethics, desire to be useful to people, readiness for great responsibility. They allow Stirlitz, a working manager, economist, director, to turn a loss-making, inefficient enterprise into a prosperous one. Such a person creates a clear system in which each subordinate performs his functions. Leading work in any field related to reality, and not with abstract matters (school director, ship captain, civil servant, army officer, company manager, general contractor, system administrator) is suitable.

Stirlitz loves to make decisions, because it makes it possible to show his logic, dominant function. She will help in the profession of a doctor, engineer, air traffic controller.

Workplace air traffic controller

FEL is proud to be able to analyze problems and eliminate them, effectively using the skills of other people. Decisions are made, relying on sensory (auxiliary function). She helps him get information about the real state of affairs, about what can be fixed and what is not. At the same time it keeps in focus a lot of details, facts. His plans are never divorced from reality, and the facts are false.

Logic is a dominant function, it will help Stirlitz in advising clients if he becomes an insurance or sales agent, real estate appraiser, lawyer. LSE thinks through and substantiates its recommendations so that the client benefits. Thanks to logic, it does not accept customer failures at its own expense. It works efficiently, because it correctly determines what is important and what is not, and allocates time.

If FEL works as a judge, doctor, flight engineer in an airplane, then developed sensory helps to have wide knowledge, collect information, take into account a thousand little things. If Stirlitz sells, then he does it well thanks to the logic. It allows you to convey your ideas and insist on your own in difficult negotiations.

Although there are 16 types of personality in socionics, Stirlitz is one of the few that can be successful in almost any profession, with the exception of psychotherapy, pedagogy, and other activities that require a deep understanding of human feelings and relationships. It will reach heights in areas related to managing people, technology, and technology. Even if this is the work of a teacher, then technical disciplines, labor training are more suitable. If LSE wants to choose medicine, then he will be more interested in the profession of a dentist and surgeon, because they have a lot of equipment and tools in their work.
