We all know for certain that in snowy winters it is much easier to ride a sled on a sled than in a stroller, even if it is with large wheels and good cross. Unfortunately, the realities are such that the paths are not always cleared, not to mention the periods when there is snow "porridge" on the street.
So sled! Riding them is one of the favorite children's entertainment in the winter. A lot of their variations are presented on the modern market - from the usual metal ones with a wooden crate, to all kinds of models made of plastic.
You can also choose sledges made of wood, snowmobile sledges equipped with a steering wheel, plastic ice sledges designed for descent from the hills. Many appreciated the models equipped with a pusher handle, thanks to which the sled can be pushed in front of you.
Parents of very young children, those who have only recently learned to sit, are attracted by a sled. This invention combines the best qualities of a stroller and sleigh. For many, baby strollers become the most convenient means of transportation. An important plus, apart from cross-country ability, is the weight of the structure. As a rule, they are several times lighter than any stroller.
Wheelchair sleds have the following design features:

- There is a protective visor and a cover on the legs.
- Convenient height-adjustable handle.
- Skids are used for movement.
- Additional equipment with wheels (in some models).
Now on the market are presented both domestic and imported sled strollers. They have differences in quality and in the materials used and, of course, in price.
There may also be differences in functions. For example, sometimes sledges provide the possibility of changing the position of the back, which is an important point for very young passengers. Universal models are equipped with small wheels, with which it is convenient to transport sleds across the road or use them to move around the store.
Timka sleds are designed for ages from about 8 months and weigh up to 50 kg. Basically, they are used for very young children, and for grown-ups, more complex models are used that allow you to ride from the hills on your own. Some parents prefer to bring older children in such sledges, especially if the weather outside is windy and frosty.
