They search for him and find him tormented on the third day of the search, bring him to the monastery, but Mtsyri flatly refuses to be treated. Before his death, a black teacher comes to him - to listen to confession. Actually, the whole subsequent part of the poem is the story of a young man, deprived of his homeland, parents, faith of his fathers, but not forgetting all this and raving about his escape. In order, if not to return there, then at least to sip the air of freedom and see life outside the walls of the monastery. He does not repent at all of the escape that brought him death, he only regrets that, like a bad and weak rider, he fell from a mighty horse, rushing home, and it became inaccessible to him. Mtsyri is found at the moment when he is raving, and from unbearable thirst it seems to him that he lies at the bottom of a beautiful, transparent stream. The confession ends with the hero’s request to transfer him to the garden, under the acacia, from where the Caucasus is visible. Looking at the mountains, a young man, in gratitude for the received minutes of freedom and happiness, will die in harmony with the whole world, without cursing anyone.

There are works in Russian literature that children need to learn from childhood to educate them in their love of the homeland.
