New promising hockey players regularly appear in the junior team of Russia. One of these is Dmitry Mikhailov, a striker who showed excellent performance, but is now trying to reanimate his career, playing in the Higher Hockey League for the Angarsk “Ermak”.

Mikhailov Dmitry Eduardovich was born on May 2, 1993. From an early age, the Russian became interested in the game of hockey, and his parents brought him to the Metallurg school, where the player received the necessary skills and knowledge. Since 2007, he regularly participated in youth games, including competitions among federal districts, twice reaching the final of the youth championship with the team. At the age of 17, the striker made his debut in professional hockey - Dmitry Mikhailov, hockey for whom he had already become a lifestyle, playing for Metallurg-M as part of the Youth Hockey League championship, in the first season he showed his talent, having established himself at the base, for 41 meeting by typing 27 points.
Matches in the KHL
In 2010, during the KHL draft, Dmitry Mikhailov was chosen by Metallurg Magnitogorsk, trying to soon become one of the best championship teams, the Russian began his speech for Steel Fox - in the youth team of Magnitogorsk. Due to the successful conduct of the season in 2011, Mikhailov was invited to play in the Russian national team at the World Championship among youths, where the striker took part in 6 meetings, gaining 2 points, becoming the bronze medalist of the championship.
In 2012, Dmitry Mikhailov appeared in an application for KHL matches. The level of the game, which was demonstrated by a talented striker, made it possible to make his debut as part of Metallurg in the December series of the team, and only in his 5th game was he able to gain the first point as a basis, giving an assist in the match against Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. The coaching staff of the Magnitogorsk club did not like this performance, and Dmitry went to the VHL.
Way to Severstal
As part of the Higher Hockey League, Mikhailov, Dmitry played in the Volga “Ariad”, for which he played in 45 meetings over the season, gaining 30 points, after which in 2013 he began the championship as part of the Orsk “Southern Urals”, and completed in the Tver Club " THC ". Soon, the talented player liked “Ugra”, in which Dmitry never played - once in the Khanty-Mansiysk club, the forward went to Tyumen “Rubin”, for which he spent two seasons, after which he was acquired by Cherepovets “Severstal”.
Before this, Mikhailov’s career was a successful segment of appearances for “Izhstal”, however, returning to the KHL, the hockey player spent only about 3 minutes on the court, going to the Ermak Angarsk for the second half of the season. Dmitry Mikhailov found his place in the Siberian team and successfully helps the team fight for a ticket to the playoffs. For 11 games played, the striker has already earned 8 points, and the coaching staff is seriously counting on a player whose goal is to return hockey to the Russian elite in the near future.
