Carier start

Borriello Marco began his career at the youth academy of the famous Italian Milan. When he signed a professional contract with the club at the age of 17, he was immediately sent to rent at Treviso. After that, another lease followed - this time to the Triestina club, where the young football player spent nine matches, scoring one goal. And again, not a single day Borriello did not stay in Milan. He was sent on loan to Treviso, where he was already a year ago. During the season, Marco played thirty matches, marking 11 goals.

Returning from the lease, Borriello spent six months in Milan. The athlete played only six matches, after which he was again sent for practice to another club - this time Empoli. There for six months he went on the field 12 times, marking one goal. Then followed the full season for “Milan”, during which he entered the field eleven times, without ever hitting an opponent’s goal. The result was another lease at Regina, this time for a whole year.

32 matches and three goals - after that, Marco returned to Milan, but they did not wait for him there. The next series of rents followed. Six months at Sampdoria, six months at Treviso - and here Borriello Marco gets another chance at Milan. During the season 06/07, he enters the field in 14 matches, scoring three goals. On this his collaboration with the club ends.

Marco Borrelli biography

Going to Genoa

Marco Borriello, whose biography until 2007 was far from ideal, received an incredible opportunity, which he immediately took advantage of. Two million euros paid by the Genoese club for the striker. And he immediately began to demonstrate a completely different football. During the year, Boriello entered the field in 37 matches and scored 19 goals. This impressed the leadership of Milan, which decided to use the transfer option and buy back their pupil - for only nine million euros.

Return to Milan

Marco Borriello, whose photos after an incredibly successful season in Genoa began to appear in all Italian publications, could not immediately gain a foothold in Milan. In the first season, he played in only eight games, scoring two goals. After that, an incredibly successful period began for him. Marco played in 36 matches, scoring fifteen goals. With this, he attracted the attention of Roma, which rented it for a year with the right to purchase for ten million euros.

Roman period

During the lease, Marco played in 46 matches and scored 17 goals. This was a good indicator, so the Roman club paid the promised ten million. But then everything went completely different from what all parties would like. For six months, Borriello entered the field only eight times and did not score a single goal. Therefore, he was leased to Juventus, where he played in 17 matches and scored two goals.

Then Marco was rented for a year at Genoa, where he scored 12 goals in 28 matches. And then the first trip abroad followed. For six months, Marco tried to get a job at Roma, but was then leased to West Ham. As a result, in February 2015, Borriello’s contract with Roma expired. He became a Dejnoa player for free - the club offered him a short-term contract.
