Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant: history, products, address

Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant OJSC (SNKhZ) is a unique enterprise producing competitive multi-profile products of small tonnage chemistry, high-octane additives and synthetic rubbers. The high quality of the product and the level of service have earned well-deserved prestige among traditional partners in the countries of near and far abroad: the geography of the company's supplies covers half the globe.

Creature

In 1958, pilot production was separated from the structure of the Sterlitamak synthetic rubber plant, the purpose of which was the development of new types of rubber, the testing of technologies and small-scale production of specialized products.

On December 28, 1963, SKI-3 brand isoprene rubber was obtained in experimental plants for the first time in the USSR. This date is considered to be the birthday of the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant.

Development

In 1965, the company's specialists received the so-called light rubber, which is still used in the food industry and light industry. Production capacities grew, and in 1966, SNHZ finally became an independent enterprise.

The year 1967 was significant. For the first time in the world, factory workers in collaboration with leading chemists of the country managed to master the production of isoprene-divinyl low molecular weight liquid rubbers such as PDI. In 1970, at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, a unique substance, agidol-1 (phenolic light antioxidant) and isomethyl tetrahydrophthalic andhydrogen (hardener) IMTHFA, was also obtained for the first time.

In 1991, the state-owned enterprise was transformed into a joint-stock company - CJSC Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant. And today, production remains one of the flagships of the industry, producing a product unique to the country. The factory workers accounted for 69 inventions and 64 patents.

Production

SNHZ is a rather large enterprise, but its structure also has its own giant sites. The most important structures are the workshop of complex phenols, production of synthetic rubbers and agidols. At the plant, capacity is constantly being increased, technical re-equipment is being carried out, the assortment range of finished products is changing.

The pride of the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant is the Mollers modern pallet system installed in 2012. In the same year, the capacity of the plant for the production of agidol-1 was increased. Parallel courses stabilized its quality, in particular color stability. This substance during storage can change color from flawless white to yellow. At the same time, he does not lose his operational properties, but loses in an aesthetic plan.

The team is trying to find technical solutions that will allow you to get a product with predicted color performance during the warranty shelf life. For this purpose, a very sensitive device was purchased - a chromato-mass spectrometer. In the course of initial studies, the presence of heavy impurities in claims was established. Therefore, during the reconstruction of the H-13 workshop on the main column No. 400, mass transfer devices were restored and process parameters were optimized. This decision allowed to limit the amount of undesirable impurities in the final product.

Factory scientists developed and issued the initial data for the design of the new antioxidant agidol-152. This is a product in demand in the chemical industry, which is used in the production of mortar butadiene rubbers, ABS plastics, polystyrene. Also, successful salt-free coagulation experiments were carried out together with copolymer production technologists in the E-2 workshop. In the near future it is planned to introduce new technologies in production.

Scientific approach

Factory science is an important part of management. Its tasks are to organize and track the effectiveness of scientific projects at all stages: from the development of high technology to the creation of closed production cycles.

Specialists at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant are developing proposals for improving existing processes. Together with the technical control department, they serve workshops and services, performing various tests, analyzes, and developing measures to eliminate defects. They also participate in research projects in collaboration with industry research institutes on topics that meet the needs of the plant. All activities of factory science are aimed at economic growth and competitiveness of enterprises.
