Organization of labor protection: a system for protecting life and health

Labor protection is understood as a system of preserving the health and life of a person during his labor activity. This system consists of organizational, technical, legal, socio-economic, medical and preventive and other measures ensuring the safety of employees. The organization of labor protection is regulated by law, therefore, the employer is obliged at each workplace to create working conditions corresponding to regulatory legal acts.

Regardless of what kind of activity the company is engaged in, if there is at least one labor agreement, labor protection must be organized with drawn up safety instructions for all employees. In trading companies, as well as in manufacturing enterprises, each position has its own labor rules, therefore, training is carried out for sellers, movers, storekeepers and other personnel (with subsequent verification of knowledge). Labor protection in trade is no exception, since there are also nuances and production factors that can negatively affect the ability to work and the health of workers.

The main danger of a working person is a disease or injury, which may deprive him of the opportunity to sell his labor for a while. But the trauma received at the workplace is of such a socio-economic nature that allows compensation for this inconvenience. This was made possible thanks to state regulation of labor relations and the emergence of labor protection. It is the organization of this structure, its complexity, consisting of legal, social and economic aspects, that ensures healthy and safe conditions that are everyone’s constitutional right.
