Judging by the many stories about hunting, dogs very often saved a person from a wounded bear. After an unsuccessful shot, the bear becomes very ferocious, fast and unpredictable. In the absence of dogs, the chance to get away from such a bear is practically zero.
How does the hunt go?
It is best to hunt a bear in the winter, after he settles in the den. Hunters walk in advance, track down traces, look for a den. Once the hibernation site is discovered, equipment can be collected. To do this, you will need: a shooting license, a long-range carbine, a double-barreled shotgun, a large hunting knife, a rope, and a dog, of course.
To corrode a bear from a den, they poison a dog that wakes him with his bark. At this time, hunters should stand on three sides from the entrance to the den so as not to fall under crossfire. The distance to the lair should be no more than 50 meters if you have a simple double-barrel shotgun in your hands. With a long-range carbine you can sit a little further.
As soon as the like jumps from the den, you need to be ready and not to miss the moment. The bear will jump out of its shelter very swiftly and will run in an unknown direction. The main task is not to let him in for a short distance, since the bear can simply trample or tear it on the go.
