Some gardeners, which grow wildly in summer cottages, destroy mercilessly mercilessly, while others carefully remove large islands of free land under the white-headed shrubs. Why it happens? The common daisy of the โumbrellaโ family is really capable of annoying the prudent owner with the fact that in a short time it captures vast areas of fertile land. However, if most gardeners knew about the unique beneficial properties of this annoying grass, it would be much more likely to be found in cultivated areas as an honorable neighbor of vegetable beds.
Plant description
Translated from Latin, the common dwarf ("aegopodium") means "goat's hoof", but the Russian-speaking population has other interesting names for the same plant - kupyr, kerbel, yaglic, grandfather. It is troublesome to wipe out cupar thickets, because the root system of this amazing herbaceous plant is a fertile network that has spread far and wide, tangled up, constantly releasing young shoots.
The description of ordinary dreams can be found not only in all manuals on traditional medicine and phytotherapy, but also in some culinary sources, and even as part of diet complexes for weight loss. What does this herb deserve such attention? Appearance at the cupar is impressive - a long, up to 1 meter, hollow stem, either smooth or covered with a soft edge, all from roots to apex seated with pointed leaves. From the bottom at the root and from the top, the leaves are small in size, and reach a maximum length of the order of 25-30 cm in the third quarter of the height of the stem.
The common flower blossoms (photo below) very violently, with small umbrellas made up of 15 rays and crowned with a scattering of white flowers, connected in large inflorescences. Flowering at the dream begins in mid-June and at the end of July ends with fruit formation, and only the central umbrella in each inflorescence has the ability to form a fruit. Closer to September, the fruit is considered ripened.
The composition of the dream
The chemical composition of ordinary dreams is expressed by a formula that is quite close in characteristics to the plasma of human blood, so an allergic reaction to the plant is very rare. Comprehensive information on the composition of the plant substance has not yet been provided by scientists, therefore, the list does not contain the actual, but the identified chemical composition, which includes such elements as:
- vitamin C (at least 100 mg per 100 g of plant mass), vitamin A (almost 8 mg);
- protein compounds;
- carbohydrates;
- cellulose;
- coumarins;
- useful micro and macro elements: potassium, calcium, iron, cobalt, magnesium, manganese, zinc;
- choline;
- malic and citric acids;
- flavonoids: diglycoside, kempferol, quercetin.
In addition to the above active substances that are present in all parts of the plant, the chemical composition of the rhizome of common rhizome is supplemented with a high content of essential oils, starches and resins.
Useful properties of dreams
The beneficial properties of the common Disease herb in the treatment (photo is in the article) are characterized by decongestant, intoxication, restorative, anti-inflammatory and mild diuretic actions. The plant is harvested in early July, before the formation of the fruits begins - during this period, all parts of the umbrella have a maximum concentration of valuable elements.
Preparations prepared on the basis of a raw material - leaves, stem, flowers and rhizomes of a plant, are used in home treatment for:
- anemia
- puffiness;
- increased blood coagulability and related pathologies;
- toxic poisoning;
- violation of intestinal motility;
- pathological proliferation of tissues (oncology);
- cerebrovascular spasms;
- pulmonary diseases;
- a cold
- rheumatic and arthritic inflammations;
- fungi;
- neurosis.
Young, May leaflets of common hygiene added to salads or vegetarian soups will help to cope with spring vitamin deficiency and contribute to seasonal adaptation of the body. It is useful to chew the herbs in stressful situations - on the eve of an important event or, if necessary, maintain clarity of mind for a long time. For muscle pain or inflammation of the joints, it is recommended to grind the โmiddleโ leaves of the common rheum (photos are presented in the article) and apply juicy pulp to the sore spot.
Contraindications and special notes
Both the benefit and the harm of common dreams for humans depend on several factors: the individual sensitivity of the body to the active elements that make up the grass, the time of harvesting and the conditions for harvesting the plant, and also the area where the harvest was made. It has been observed that a bump dug not far from a busy highway, in a landfill or near industrial enterprises, a priori included in its chemical formula all the harmful substances of the growing environment. From the medicine prepared from such a plant, the benefits are not to be expected.
Use the plant, starting with small portions and observing the reaction of the body. Symptoms of intolerance, the observation of which you need to abandon the treatment or feeding the heifer:
- flushing of the skin, red spots, rash, accompanied by itching;
- headache, dizziness, fainting;
- vomiting, nausea, an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth, severe heartburn;
- abdominal pain, diarrhea, or difficulty defecating.
It is not recommended for the first time to use the plant during menstruation, during pregnancy and lactation. People visiting a solarium or often sunbathing on the beach should not use common grass for treatment or as food on the eve of the day planned for a cosmetic procedure for getting an intensive tan or sunbathing. This is due to the property of the plant to increase the sensitivity of the skin to the irritating effects of ultraviolet radiation.
Patients with a stomach ulcer or gastritis of the 2nd, 3rd degree should not eat the seeds and fruits of the common dreams, especially for people with an increased acid background of the digestive system.
Harvesting healthy grass
If the plant is to be used as a whole, then the collection is organized in two stages - in early July, most of the leaves are cut off and a part of the stem is cut, and at the end of October-November, a rhizome is dug out of the ground. Drying is carried out in any convenient way - in the presence of free space, the crushed parts of the plant (greens and root separately) are poured with a thin layer on metal or wooden (not plywood) shields and exposed in the sun. In the same way, healing herbs are dried in a ventilated attic.
Do not lose its useful properties and the ordinary churn from artificial heat treatment. It is better not to completely close the oven door, in which the raw materials will be dried, and the temperature gauge should be kept at 30-35 ยฐ .
It is pointless to harvest too large volumes of grass for personal needs, since the medicinal properties of ordinary dreams are depersonalized by the end of the first year of storage.
Cupule with neuralgia
One of the most common methods for using common hyperacine in neurological disorders to improve memory and relieve irritability is to carry a special aromatic sachet with grass seeds. It is useful for people who are quickly irritated, prone to panic attacks, and tearfulness to carry a life bag with well-dried seeds from the fruits of the plant sewn into it. It is enough to bring a little sachet, stretched out in the fingers, to the face on the eve of the attack and take a few deep breaths to feel peace.
With frequent migraines, the smoke of the burnt seeds of a dream helps. A large pinch of raw materials is laid out in a small earthenware or clay container and a smoldering small hole is immersed in it. Leaning over an improvised aroma lamp, it is necessary to inhale the smoke exuded by the seeds for 2-3 minutes, and stir them with an arrow from time to time.
The baths with broth of the eggs remove the feeling of fatigue and at the same time set the body to a healthy sleep. To prepare a calming composition, you need to pour half a glass of crushed rhizomes of rhizomes into a liter container with boiling water and hold the saucepan over low heat for another 7-10 minutes. The strained hot broth is poured into the bath and with pleasure relax for 15-20 minutes.
Joint disease treatment
With rheumatism and arthrosis, home treatment with pustules should act in conjunction with drug treatment and be carried out in two directions - stopping the pathology from the inside and eliminating the visible symptoms from the outside. For this, two preparations are prepared and taken at the same time - water or alcohol infusion and "live" mass for the compress. In winter, when it is impossible to obtain fresh greens, the compresses are replaced with grindings, using the classic alcohol tincture as a warming preparation:
- the freshly cut leaves of the common fluke are finely cut with a knife and mixed in a 1: 1 ratio with the dried greens of the marsh cinquefoil;
- 2/3 cup of herbal pulp is spread in a bottle of dark glass and half a liter of vodka or alcohol diluted to 40% strength is poured there;
- close the bottle with a stopper, shake it several times and clean for three weeks in a secluded place inaccessible to the light, then filter it.
The finished tincture, in the amount of 2 teaspoons, is added to water (a third of a glass), stirred and drunk in small sips. Apply the drug three times a day half an hour before meals. If tincture is used for grinding, then you need to do this at night and immediately go to bed.
Another option is infusion. It is prepared like this:
- 4 teaspoons of chopped fresh or dry grass for common root (see photo above), brew 250 ml of boiling water;
- a container with an herbal mixture is placed in a water bath and, with a slow boil, is kept under the lid for 10 minutes;
- the resulting broth is cooled, filtered, and the remaining swollen grass is squeezed through cheesecloth into strained liquid;
- the infusion is brought to the full volume of a glass of boiled water.
The medicine is drunk gradually, taking several sips during the day.
Compresses from the slurry of fresh leaves and the stem part of the plant can be applied to the sore spot any number of times a day and even left them all night.
Cardiovascular Treatment
As a prevention of atherosclerosis, herbalists recommend drinking freshly extracted juice from the green part of the plant. A two-week course is carried out once a year in May, before the flowering of herbs begins, and in the cold season, an infusion of a dry mixture of herbs purchased separately in a pharmacy and taken in a 1: 1 ratio is indispensable. It will be required: a chick, a three-leafed shift, lemon balm, red-fruited mountain ash. Every evening a new portion of infusion is prepared the next day:
- a full teaspoon of phyto-mixture is brewed with a glass of boiling water;
- put the saucepan on a small fire and stand for 5 minutes with a slow boil;
- after two hours of infusion, the broth is filtered and removed until morning.
The resulting product is divided into three servings and they are drunk at regular intervals throughout the day. The infusion cleanses blood vessels well, breaks cholesterol deposits and supports vascular tone.
Gastrointestinal tract
With a critical degree of exhaustion and loss of appetite, it is necessary to restore the normal functioning of the intestine, and gain weight to optimal values โโas soon as possible. It will help in this balm on the herbal mass, prepared in this way:
- 5 full teaspoons of dried sunflower seeds are placed in a plate and watered with freshly squeezed lemon juice;
- when the seeds are swollen and slightly dried, they are crushed to a fine powder;
- a small pinch of black salt is interfered with the plant powder;
- the friable mass is transferred to a small, hermetically sealed container and stored at room temperature.
Take the drug in a small spoon 2 r / day, washed down with plenty of water. The course continues until all the medicine has been used.
Water infusion for the removal of toxins is used as a prophylaxis of intestinal motility disorders before fasting days or for chronic constipation. For its preparation, 1.5 tbsp. tablespoons of finely chopped leaves are filled with 2 glasses of boiling water and insisted for 2 hours, then filtered through cheesecloth. They drink the infusion in a short course, starting from 1 tbsp. tablespoons three times a day before eating on the first day, then on the second day, increasing the dosage by half. This is followed by a 5-day break, after which the course is repeated.
The treatment of colds
A simple decoction of dried green kupyr can be drunk throughout the epidemiological period or with preventive courses in autumn and spring. If the first signs of the disease appear - sore throat, cough, runny nose, it is recommended not to dwell on one prescription for the preparation of a therapeutic agent, but rather approach the therapy from several sides.
To rinse your throat and rinse your nose, use a normal drinking water decoction with a pinch of table salt, which is completely dissolved in a warm liquid, and then proceed to the procedure. If the throat is blocked, the nose does not breathe and there is a dry cough, rinse must be supplemented with inhalation and warming.
The first procedure is to inhale the steam rising from the saucepan, in which the seeds of the seed were boiled (1 tablespoon of seeds per 200 ml of water). The second technique - heating - also involves the use of seeds of the fruit of the plant. 3 full tablespoons of raw materials are calcined in a raw frying pan until an oily substance is released, then hot seeds are quickly tied in a handkerchief. With this compress on your chest, you need to lie down under the blanket for 7-10 minutes, then dress warmly and drink a warm broth with sunspot.
