How did Armavir appear?
It was founded by the Armenians in 1839. Joining Russia
Around the same time, they also carried out military reform, as a result of which the Armavirites were annexed to Russia. In 1876, they began to build the Vladikavkaz railway, in the future it had a huge impact on economic development.
In the same year, a village called Armavir began to be called a village. Soon the railway began to work, and trade began to develop rapidly. One after another, various industrial and cultural institutions gradually appeared in the village. But all this happened in the central part of Armavir. After the revolution in Armavir, a fierce struggle for power began. At that time, urban residents suffered terrible famine and devastation. The entire urban industry began to work, new enterprises opened, the first medical facilities were built.

The Second World War
In June 1941, thousands of urban residents and all the surrounding area were sent to the front. The Nazis bombed the city, and in August 1942 they managed to capture Armavir. Post-war time
