"AYAN" Brewery was founded in 1980. Only then he bore the name "Abakansky." It was a bright event. At that time, soft drinks were in short supply, and the appearance of its own producer for residents of surrounding cities and towns was a real holiday. Moreover, the assortment of the plant was quite wide; production of carbonated drinks, kvass, beer and mineral water was arranged here. The products were of such high quality that fame spread far beyond Khakassia. Abakan beer "AYAN" is still very popular.
How production developed
After the collapse of the Union, like most enterprises, the Abakan brewery was privatized. Now it has become an open joint stock company.
And in 1996, the plant management submitted documents for renaming. In early December of the ninety-sixth year, instead of the Abakan brewery, the open joint-stock company "AYAN" appeared.

The whole process takes place under the control of highly qualified specialists. That is why the so-beloved Abakan beer "AYAN" is a really high-quality product. The process is monitored from a laboratory specially equipped at the factory. Here they check both raw materials for quality and finished products. It is very important that Abakan beer is not pasteurized, moreover, filtration is carried out only by the cold method. That is why the fullness of the taste of the drink is preserved. The products are manufactured according to the classical method, which takes from twenty-eight to forty-nine days.
Beer is not subjected to artificial carbonization, since natural carbon dioxide is quite enough.
Abakan beer "AYAN" does not contain preservatives. Also, stabilizers and foaming agents are not added to it. Like any live beer, its shelf life is very limited. Subject to proper storage, it does not exceed twenty-five days.
The factory does not use plastic containers for bottling beer. It is not suitable for storing unpasteurized beer. But for lovers of the freshest drink, there is draft beer in kegs.
Beers
The plant produces several types of drink:
- The most popular is Traditional “Abakan” beer 0.5. It has a pleasant hop aroma, soft malt flavor with unobtrusive light bitterness. The composition of this variety is special Czech brewing yeast, hops and malt from Europe and, of course, specially prepared water. Abakansky beer has a refreshing bright taste, which is why it is ideal to quench your thirst on a sultry summer day. The main thing is to remember that the shelf life of this drink is less than a month.
- The next sort of foamy is named after the clean mountain river that flows into the Yenisei. This is a light beer "Joy." It has a soft golden hue, full-bodied taste, which is complemented by hop hop, and persistent foam. This drink contains special malt from Finland, aromatic hops from the Czech Republic and special prepared soft water. In addition to everything in this beer there is a special ingredient - selenium. This is a mineral that is an antioxidant for the human body and has a beneficial effect on the immune system. The shelf life of the drink also does not exceed twenty five days.
- Another favorite position among the people is considered to be Okhotnik strong beer. This drink has tonic and stimulating properties. The composition of the "Hunter", unlike other varieties, includes rice. It is thanks to this component that beer has a mild taste and the same aftertaste, despite its strength. Shelf life is still the same twenty-five days. But the cost of this drink is slightly higher than the previous two. Yes, and it’s more difficult to buy, since it is not sold in all stores.
- There is another seasonal drink - light "New Year's" beer. This foamy drink is released once a year, before the New Year holidays. It has a golden color and magnificent persistent foam. This is the strongest variety from the entire line, it contains 6.2% alcohol.
