Carier start
Vyacheslav Karavaev was born on May 20, 1995 in Moscow, where at the age of six he joined the football academy of one of the strongest clubs in Russia - CSKA. It was there that he spent his entire childhood, went through all the youth teams, until in 2013 he signed a professional contract with the club. In the same year he made his debut in an adult team, having played four matches in the sum. However, one talent was not enough - there was no place in the starting lineup for the young defender, so the club decided to rent it out. So in the summer of 2014, Vyacheslav Karavaev first left for the Czech Republic, where he was supposed to spend a year on loan at Prague's Dukla.
Rental period
Naturally, Dukla did not take the football player in order to keep him on the bench - he was considered as a base player, and he became Vyacheslav Karavaev. The player played 29 matches throughout the season, having gained enough practice and gained experience. However, this was not enough for CSKA, therefore, in the summer of 2015, the defender was again sent on loan to the Czech Republic - this time to Yablonec. There he played even more - as many as 33 matches, while scoring three goals. This season, Vyacheslav Karavaev really bloomed and showed what he is capable of. However, the return to CSKA did not bring positive news. Young talent could not compete with experienced partners such as George Schennikov and Kirill Nababkin, and even more so, he could not compete with Brazilian Mariu Fernandes. Therefore, it was decided to sell the player for one million euros to Prague Sparta. However, of course, CSKA secured itself in the event that the defender plays in a new club at a qualitatively new level - Muscovites still have the right to buy forever.
Going to Sparta
In the new club, Karavaev, of course, got a place in the starting lineup, although he always has to fight for it - yet the level of this team is much higher than all the previous ones. To date, Vyacheslav has played 21 matches for Sparta and scored two goals in them, and also scored eight assists. His contract with the club is designed until 2020, however, during the first years of his stay there, CSKA can redeem it if the player expresses a desire to return.
Team appearances
As for the Russian team, there Karavaev has not yet made his debut because of his age, but in youth teams of different age categories he has already received a lot of game experience. Vyacheslav played 10 matches for the national team under 16 years old, 8 matches for the national team under 17 years old, 10 more matches for the national team under 18 years old, 9 matches for the national team under 19 years old, and now he plays for the national team under the age of 21 and has already played for it as many as 20 matches, noting one goal and two assists. If he can prove himself in the current club, then perhaps in the next couple of years he will also receive a challenge to the adult team.
