This pupil of St. Petersburg hockey very brightly lit up at the start of his career. SKA-1946 has never been a leader in the Youth Hockey League, but its striker Tochitsky has always been among the most successful players in the league. But the time has come to play in adult teams and ... In general, we will get acquainted with the biography of the hockey player Nikita Tochitsky.
Hockey caught my eye
For the first time, Nikita saw hockey while walking with his grandmother. We came across a hockey box from where strange sounds and sonorous boyish voices were heard. Seen so captivated the 6-year-old Nikita that he has been living in hockey for twenty years.
At home, my grandmother arranged a small scolding for her parents: “Why, you bad guys, you don’t give your child hockey, he likes him.”
Grandma got a little excited. Anyway, Nikita would go to the hockey section. Papa Andrei raved hockey himself in his childhood, was engaged in a hockey school. But life spun: a naval officer, entrepreneur, bank employee ...
And they thought about Nikita then, still small ... But Nikita himself and grandmother insisted.
From Tornado to SKA
The first coach of Nikita Tochitsky was the mentor of the St. Petersburg Youth School "Tornado" Nikolai Kozlov. Pretty quickly, the guy was taken to the main hockey school of the city - SKA.
By the way, at this time, father Andrei also had the opportunity to get into his favorite hockey. As a functionary. He worked as the sports director of Severstal (Cherepovets), was the general manager, and then the sports director of SKA.
Inverted Performance
Since childhood, Nikita Tochitsky, it was clear that the striker he is for our hockey is not very typical. He himself admitted: “I like to give a beautiful assist more than to score myself.”
It seemed incredible to many that the list of the most successful MHL players is headed by a hockey player who has performance indicators, for example, 2 + 15 (!). Only two goals. Therefore, when we look at the statistics below for Tochitsky’s games for SKA-1946 (SKA youth team), 31 goals for 115 games are not impressive, but we add 95 assists here, we get 127 points. This is an “iron" or goal, or pass in every game!
Adaptation
In their native SKA, they were skeptical of such statistics and gave the guy to Vityaz, near Moscow, where Nikita Tochitsky made his debut in the KHL and gained fame.
His playing style is close to the one in which Igor Larionov and Sergey Zinoviev played (Nikita Zinovieva considers it to be worthy to follow). Tochitsky prefers to rely on technical handling of the puck, intelligence and good vision of the site. Unfortunately, such hockey has recently clearly contradicted the axiom "Forward must score." Well, just like the other hockey players valued by our hero do: Alexander Korolyuk, Nikolai Semin, Ilya Kovalchuk.
Nikita, with high dedication, began to play for Vityaz. He dreamed of gaining a foothold in the club, cherishing the hope of someday returning to SKA. Unfortunately, he did not fit the style of the “Knights”, playing power, Canadian (with tough guys) hockey.
After the season, Tochitsky was exchanged for Atlant. There he also played a lot, and then there was a failure ...
To St. Petersburg route Volga - Siberia - Urals
2013-2015 is the most difficult period in the career of Nikita Tochitsky. The minimum number of matches caused by poor physical condition due to injuries, loss of self-confidence, wandering around hockey clubs. Even with assists was bad.
Only when he was in Avtomobilist Nikita got into the grooves of the team game, making an important contribution to this modest team reaching the playoffs. Assessing this, SKA called him home.
Unfortunately, Tochitsky, in fact, did not find a place in the starry SKA: only 7 matches and 1 goal. And the striker went to Sochi.
Nikita, you have to score!
The coming season will be the third in Sochi for Nikita Tochitsky and a peculiar record: the earlier striker did not stay longer in the teams for more than two seasons. It is possible that Nikita found a team of his life: one in which he is appreciated and loved. But here again, I haven’t scored goals for the “leopards”, and it’s sparse with assists.
Today, of course, we can state that Nikita Tochitsky did not justify high-profile advances, but he has not yet abandoned his last goal in the KHL.
