The celandine is large, or as its name sounds in Latin - Helidonium, is the only one of its kind celandine unique plant from a large poppy family. If this stalk is broken or bent, then on its break milk of celandine juice begins to stand out. This juice, having been a little in the air, acquires first yellow, and then a bright orange color. The best remedy for skin ailments is the juice that gives off celandine: from acne, from warts, various types of rashes. The leaves of the plant sit on the petioles. Their shape is endowed with deep cirrus incisions. They have three to five rounded curly lobes. The topmost lobe of the leaf is usually larger than the rest and has three wide lobes. The leaves of celandine on top have a bright green color, and from below give a bluish tint. When the celandine blooms, its flowers are striking in their extraordinary sunny beauty. They have a golden shade of yellow, an umbrella inflorescence and four petals on each flower. After the flowers outlive their time, the plant gives a peculiar kind of fruit - a box.
