Beautiful and thick eyelashes give the eyes mystery, depth, make the look more languid and mysterious. Unfortunately, not all women are naturally endowed with beautiful natural eyelashes, which is why their growth has become increasingly popular lately. This procedure was very popular in Hollywood, and now it is available in our beauty salons. The advantage of extended eyelashes is obvious - they do not need tinting and look great in any weather and time of day. Their owners can safely do without carcasses, there is no need to twist them. The only thing that can prevent you from making extension eyelashes is care, which may not be suitable for everyone.
The following contraindications to eyelash extensions are:
- allergic to the glue used in building;
- own weak eyelashes - overweight artificial can only aggravate their condition and make them brittle;
- conjunctivitis;
- too oily skin of the eyelids - this will lead to the rapid dissolution of glue for eyelashes ;
- care for extended eyelashes is not suitable for those who wear contact lenses.
In fact, eyelash extensions are gluing artificial cilia to your own natural ones using a special odorless hypoallergenic glue (it can be black and colorless). Unlike overheads of one-time options, the built-in ones do not last longer, as an example, besides they are not glued all at once, but in bundles or one at a time. Eyelashes that are attached to natural ones can be real or synthetic (experts have not yet come to an unequivocal conclusion which ones are better). Basically, if a client has no allergies, masters often offer synthetic ones, as more durable and safe.
Eyelash extension procedure is as follows:
- preliminary consultation and clarification of the characteristics of a particular client, modeling the shape of eyelashes;
- makeup removal;
- chemical wave of eyelashes and shaping them;
- staining and degreasing the base of each eyelash with a special solution;
- direct extension (gluing)
You should not abuse and build up too long and magnificent eyelashes - sometimes it’s enough to stick only a few small beams at the corners of the eyes to create a dizzying volume and make the look more expressive. The duration of the entire procedure is 2-3 hours. The grown eyelashes last about a month and practically do not interfere with ordinary life.
How to care for extended eyelashes
Caring for such beauty does not require special efforts, it is only necessary to observe safety measures. If you decide to make yourself eyelash extensions - care for them and following certain rules should become a habit for you. Usually, such artificial extension eyelashes easily and painlessly fall out together with the main “relatives”, this happens every 15-25 days. If you plan to constantly go with the built-up, then it makes sense to come to the master for correction every 2 weeks, supplementing the sections that have fallen out. By the way, it will cost a lot less.
Eyelash extensions - care and precautions:
- Do not use mascara, especially water-resistant - while removing its residues it is very easy to damage such delicate work.
- It is advisable to visit the sauna less, as temperature changes and wet steam does not contribute to the preservation of eyelash extensions.
- Do not rub your eyes, but wash yourself very carefully so as not to touch the eyelashes. Makeup should be removed only with special lightweight, fat-free products so as not to damage the thin layer of glue. When removing makeup, you only need to lightly blotch your eyelids with a swab dipped in a washing-up liquid.
- Before removing artificial cilia or bundles, it is necessary to apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the gluing line for 12 hours.
As you can see, if you have extended eyelashes - caring for them does not require anything supernatural.
