Fans of the Moscow “Locomotive” Jan Tigorev was remembered not only as a foreign player from the near abroad, but also as a player who can solve all problems in the center of the field. By the time he got into the capital's club, Jan was already a solid football by age. But how did his football career begin and why did he get such a nickname?
The first years of a sports career
Although Yan Tigorev was born in the Far East, he made his first football steps thousands of kilometers from this place. At the age of nine, his parents go to live in Belarus. It is in this country, in the small town of Zhodino, in the Youth Sports School that Jan makes his first shots on the ball. While playing in this country, he comes to the attention of breeders from the Dynamo football club (Minsk) and, since the beginning of 2001, has started playing for Dynamo-2 Minsk. And a few years later he begins to play for the youth team of Belarus in official matches and within a few years will hold one and a half dozen matches for this team.
Football specialization of this football player
Almost all of his playing time, Yan Tigorev spent on the site of the defensive midfielder, he managed to control the center of the field so well that the coaches of the teams in which this player played used him mainly in this position. Having played just one season for Dynamo 2, the very next year he finds himself in the main team of Minsk Dynamo. Playing for this club, Jan wins with him all the medals of various denominations, as well as the Belarus Cup. At the same time, the coaches of the national team pay attention to him. And in the following time, he plays for the national team and holds more than three dozen matches in it, speaking in several qualifying cycles of the Belarus national team.
Continuation of a football career
Having played in Dynamo Minsk for four seasons and having spent more than a hundred matches, he decides to change not only the football club, but also Yan Tigorev. The footballer moves to Ukraine, to Zaporizhzhya Metallurg. In this championship, he spends three seasons and plays about the same number of matches as in Belarus. But in Ukraine, he already plays the role of a legionnaire, nevertheless, he has a constant playing practice, and breeders of not only Russian but also European clubs pay attention to him. In 2011, a football player decides to try himself in a more complex championship and draws up a transition to Russia. Although he begins to play far from a top club, such as Tom, in this short time he was able to establish himself as one of the country's best defensive midfielders. But it was at this time that the football player began to pursue injury. This year, he gets a meniscus injury and is eliminated for six months from football. But even in such a difficult situation, he is noticed by the coaches of the Moscow Lokomotiv, and already the next season he begins as part of the railway workers.
Completion of a football career
Although in “Locomotive” Jan played not so many matches in three seasons, nevertheless it was in this team that he was able to reach the pinnacle of football skill. Since he had to fight for a place in the first team with such a famous football player as Diarra, as well as the captain of Lokomotiv Tarasov. In addition, the status of a legionnaire and the injuries pursuing a football player complicated the already difficult struggle with the stars of world and Russian football. But the injuries did not allow the athlete’s talent to be fully revealed, and he returns to his first club, where his football career began. Having played just a few matches in two seasons, Jan ended his football career in the fall of 2016.
