Tale is a lie, but a hint in it

What other conclusions - besides the obvious ones, that a kind person is a well-fed person, and that quick wisdom will help to find a way out of any situation - does the fairy tale โ€œPorridge from an Axโ€ allow to make? Her hidden lesson, relevant at all times, can be expressed as follows: if there was an ax, and the porridge would boil.

A positive hero manages to achieve his goal (cook porridge / satisfy hunger), without any objective means. A soldier quite seriously tries to weld an ax, which from the standpoint of common sense is completely impossible. In this sense, the fairy tale "Porridge from the ax" is close to the Italian proverb: "You are hot, hot, and there will be fish!" If the goal seems unattainable due to lack of funds, drop all doubts and work with what you have, adjusting your actions to the desired result.

In general, a fairy tale, as a special genre of oral folk art, has once again proved its uniqueness. What other literary work can enclose such a deep content in such a simple form?
